    • A valve body has an annular bottom face and an inner circumferential periphery both defining a seat fitting hole, which is coaxial with a sliding hole. A spool is axially movable in the sliding hole. A seat member has an axial end surface and an outer circumferential periphery, which are respectively axially and radially press-fitted to the annular bottom face and the inner circumferential periphery to respectively define an annular seal portion and a cylindrical seal portion therebetween. The seat member has a bleed port for draining fluid from a bleed chamber. The spool has an end surface, which defines a small clearance between the end surface and the seat member when the spool is seated to the seat member for communicating a supply port with the bleed chamber.

    • A seat member forms a bleed chamber between a spool and the seat member and has a bleed port communicated with a low pressure side. The spool is seatable against a seat of the seat member, which is formed around the bleed chamber, to disable substantial communication between the bleed chamber and a supply port, which supplies oil to the bleed chamber. An opening and closing valve plug is seatable against another seat of the seat member, which is formed around the bleed port, to close the bleed port. A push member is placed between the spool and the valve plug. When a solenoid actuator applies a drive force to the valve plug, the push member is driven by the valve plug to directly push the spool and thereby to lift the spool away from the seat of the seat member.

    • A valve apparatus includes a valve body, a seat member, an oil supply port, a movable valve, and a pilot communicating member. The seat member is fixed to the valve body and defines a bleed chamber. The oil supply port supplies oil to the bleed chamber. The movable valve is slidably received in the valve body, wherein the movable valve is displaceable based on a pressure in the bleed chamber, and the movable valve blockades the oil supply port in a state, where the movable valve contacts the seat member. The pilot communicating member provides communication between the oil supply port and the bleed chamber in the state, where the movable valve contacts the seat member. The pilot communicating member includes a slight clearance changing member that increases a degree of the communication when a temperature decreases, and decreases the degree of the communication when the temperature increases.
