    • A multi-purpose backpack style bag also referred as Flipper bag herein that can be used alternatively as a backpack, a handbag, or a shoulder bag. Moreover, the Flipper bag can also be converted from the backpack into a handbag without removing the contents of the handbag. The Flipper bag is made of two components, the top flipper body that is reversible, and the bottom handbag body. The bottom handbag body can be independently used as a handbag or a shoulder bag.     • The present invention relates to a windback device and method of use to prevent lubricant from leaking from a lubricant sump. More specifically, the present invention is comprised of a windback device within a lubricant sump formed from the coupling of an annular sump housing, an annular fluid seal assembly, and a bearing. The annular housing substantially surrounds the runner to form a chamber. The seal assembly is coupled to a sump housing both of which are adapted to receive a rotatable runner such that a sealed chamber is formed around the runner. A plurality of inclined threads extend along an inner face of the windback device and are angled such that lubricant or fluid splashed from the rotating shaft is redirected away from a shaft seal element of the annular fluid seal and through leak off slots leading to the sump housing chamber.

    • This invention provides a process of preparation of novel polymorphic hemifumarate salts of 8-chloro-6,11-dihyfro-11-(4-piperidylidene)-5H-benzo[5,6]-cyclohepta[1,2-b]pyridine, hereinafter called “desloratadine”. These polymorphic salt forms show much higher solubility in water and also in protic organic solvents compare to the parent desloratadine. The process of preparing the polymorphic forms comprising: a) mixing the ethanolic solution of desloratadine and fumaric acid at a temperature of from about 55° C. to 70° C., and stirring for 30 to 45 minutes after mixing, and thereafter filtering the solid thereby prepared in hot condition; to yield the polymorphic form 2 having a DSC of 232° C.±2° C.; or b) mixing the ethanolic solution of desloratadine and fumaric acid at a temperature of form about 15° C. room temperature (25° C.) and stirring at this temperature for 30 to 45 minutes, then filtering at room temperature; to yield the polymorphic form 1 having a DSC of 224° C.±2° C.

    • The present invention relates to an improved process for preparing a polypeptide or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof comprising L-tyrosine, L-alanine, L-glutamate, and L-lysine. The polypeptide or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is preferably glatiramer acetate.
