    • Provided are a method for producing molded articles of cured resin without deterioration of transferability and mold removability, as well as molded articles of cured resin obtained by the method. A method for producing molded articles of cured resin, including: (i) molding a first molded article of cured resin using a resin mold for the curable resin, the resin mold having been prepared by molding a resin composition containing an alicyclic structure-containing polymer and a hindered phenol compound, (ii) after use in the molding, heat-treating the resin mold for the curable resin, at a temperature lower by 5 to 60° C. than the glass transition temperature of the resin composition for a period of time in a range of 30 seconds to 100 hours, and (iii) molding a second molded article of the cured resin using the heat-treated resin mold for the curable resin.

    • The present invention relates to a magnetic disk substrate formed of a thermoplastic resin and a magnetic disk comprising a magnetic recording layer formed on the magnetic disk substrate. In the magnetic disk substrate of the invention, the amount of gases generated therefrom upon held at 90° C. for 1 hour is 100 μg/cm2 or less, so that when scanned by a floating head, errors on recording and reading of information are remarkably reduced. Thus, the magnetic disk substrate can provide a magnetic disk having improved scan capability. The present invention also provides a process for manufacturing such a magnetic disk.

    • A copying machine records an image on a recording sheet through the use of an ink donor sheet with thermally transferable ink. The copying machine includes a platen of glass for supporting an original to be copied, a scanner unit movable reciprocally relative to the platen for reading a series of lines on the original and for generating an image signal for each line, a thermal head having a heating region for selectively generating thermal pulses in response to the image signal from the scanner unit, an ink donor sheet supply assembly for supplying the thermal head with an ink donor sheet coated with thermally transferable ink which can be fluidized or sublimable upon being heated, a recording sheet supply assembly for supplying a recording sheet in the vicinity of the thermal head, a contacting assembly for bringing the supplied recording sheet into intimate contact with a heating region of the thermal head with the ink donor sheet interposed between the thermal head and the recording sheet, and a recording sheet discharging assembly for discharging the recording sheet peeled off the ink donor sheet after the image has been recorded on the recording sheet.
