    • A packaging laminate includes at least one material layer provided with magnetisable particles. A roller can be configured to apply crease line patterns on the packaging laminate while also applying magnetic fields for magnetising at least some of the magnetisable particles in the packaging laminate. A method of controlling working operations on a packaging laminate in a filling machine involves supplying a packaging laminate to a filling machine, wherein the packaging laminate includes at least one material layer comprising magnetizable particles, with at least some of the magnetizable particles being magnetized particles. The method also involves controlling working operations of the filling machine on the packaging laminate supplied to the filling machine by reading information provided by the magnetized particles.

    • Packet data transmissions from network servers are provided to wireless communication stations via wireless communication networks. A network server 30 about to transmit packet data to a wireless communication station 20 first requests the wireless station 20 to provide its radio transferring capabilities to the server 30. Based on these radio transferring capabilities, the information content to be transferred from the server 30 to the wireless station 20, via a wireless communication network 10 and any operatively connecting the server with the wireless network 10, is adapted so that the resulting packet data transmission is suitable for the radio transferring capabilities of the wireless station 20. This results in a reasonable transmission time in elimination of any annoying transmission delays due to bandwidth capacity problems.

    • The present invention relates to an aqueous silica-containing composition comprising an anionic organic polymer having at least one aromatic group and anionic silica-based particles. The aqueous silica-containing composition contains the anionic organic polymer having at least one aromatic group and the anionic silica-based particles in an amount of at least 0.01% by weight of the total weight of the aqueous silica-containing composition. The aqueous silica-containing composition contains substantially no cellulose-reactive sizing agent and the anionic organic polymer having at least one aromatic group is not an anionic naphthalene sulphonate formaldehyde condensate. The invention further relates to methods for the preparation of the aqueous silica-containing composition and the use of the aqueous silica-composition as a drainage and retention aid in a process for the production of paper. The invention also relates to a process for the production of paper from an aqueous suspension containing cellulosic fibres, and optionally filler, in which the aqueous silica-containing composition and at least one charged organic polymer are added to the cellulosic suspension.

    • The present invention relates to a heating device having at least a first heating element 102 for heating at least one protective sleeve 105, 602 arranged around at least a first uncoated optical fiber section 501, 603. Said sleeve 105, 602 being arranged to shrink when exposed to heat to form a protecting member tightly enclosing said uncoated optical fiber section 501, 603. The at least first heating element is flexible, and arranged to take at least a first open state and a second substantially closed state. Said first open state is suitable for inserting and removing said protecting sleeve and fiber into and out off said heating device. Said heating element, in said second state, substantially surrounds said sleeve to form an enclosure around said sleeve, so that said heating element radiates heat around substantially the complete circumference of said sleeve.
