    • A blower (54) (FIG. 1) supplies air to a plurality of pneumatic deflectors (26) individually controlled by valves (46) to deflect products off a conveyor (22) to receiving devices (32). The blower is modulated to supply air under a constant pressure by a valve (70) controlled by a power diaphragm controlled by a control diaphragm (72) acting as a valve for a bleeder tube (140). Each deflector comprises a tube having a circumferential slit (246) and groove (248) forming an orifice. Each valve (46) is quickly disassembled by tie rods and has a diaphragm controlled by a senser (44) at one of the receiving devices (32). The senser includes a sensing vane (352) controlling a bleeder valve member (320) to control pressure to the valve (46). The senser is protected by an overload relief device (344). A flow controlling system (600) (FIG. 14) includes a power diaphragm (638) controlled by a control diaphragm (626) and controlling a bleeder valve 645 to control liquid pressure to a flow control valve (602), the power and control diaphragms being detachably mounted on a reservoir of the liquid. A close wound spiral spring (702) having a feeler knob (704) engaging a scale member (706) is deflected in accordance with load on the scale member to bleed air from a line (708) to a control cylinder (710) to regulate feed of material to the scale member.
