The system includes a ball for use in a sport activity comprising a lace or thread on, or adjacent to, an outer surface of the ball, and a communication element such as a wire or antenna disposed within the lace or thread, the ball's communication element being adapted to communicate via a signal received from, or sent to, one or more communication elements, such as a transmitter or receiver, disposed at or near a playing area. The playing area communication elements are adapted to communicate ball position based upon the signals sent and/or received. A processor is provided which is adapted to translate or process information received by the playing area communication elements into position, trajectory and/or movement of the ball. A method of identifying ball movement, trajectory and position and a ball for use with a ball movement and position identification system are also disclosed.

A base platform is provided having a plurality of spaced-apart wells for receiving the bases of the glasses. A top platform is provided having a plurality of spaced-apart wells receiving the bowls of the glasses. Each of the base platform and the top platform have a plurality of pedestals disposed between the wells and are formed integral therewith. The pedestals have a height so that the pedestals are in engagement with each other to provide support for the glasses to protect the glasses and particularly the stems of the glasses against compressive forces applied to the case and to the base and top platforms to inhibit breakage of the stems of the glasses.

摘要： A combination of a carton and a plurality of containers. The carton comprises first and second parallel spaced-apart side walls. First and second parallel spaced-apart end wells adjoin the first and second side walls to form a four sided enclosure having a bottom side and top side. The first and second side walls and the first and second end walls form a bottom wall closure extending over the bottom side. The first and second side walls and the first and second end walls extend over the top side forming a top closure to provide a six-sided enclosed space. A first insert is disposed in the enclosed space and extends over the bottom closure and is supported by the bottom closure. A plurality of containers is disposed within enclosed space and engages the first insert. A second insert overlies and engages the containers. The first and second inserts engage the tops and bottoms of the containers for retaining the containers in spaced-apart positions out of engagement with each other and in spaced-apart positions with respect to the first and second side walls and first and second end walls thereby preventing engagement of the containers with respect to each other and with respect to the first and second side walls and the first and second end walls of the carton during movement of the carton with the containers therein.

The bottle has a neck with an interior circumferential surface defining a throat with a longitudinal axis and having an end face, at least a portion of which is inclined with respect to an imaginary plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The closure has a head and a cylindrical shank extending from the head and has a cross-sectional area less than that of the head and having a longitudinal axis extending through the shank and having a cross-sectional area which is less than that of the cross-sectional area of the throat in the neck of the bottle. The head has a surface facing toward the shank and has a portion thereof which is inclined with respect to an imaginary plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shank and which is complementary to the inclined surface on the face of the neck. O-ring seals are carried by the shank for forming a sealing engagement with respect to the outer surface of the shank and the interior surface of the neck and providing a frictional engagement which is greater than the force which can be applied by a human to the closure for removal of the same until at least a portion of said O-ring seals has cleared the inner surface of the neck to thereafter permit removal of the closure by a human hand pulling on the closure to complete opening of the bottle.

摘要： A packaging container/case is formed of two cooperating cartons, the cartons formed of similar or identical blanks. Each carton includes a first major panel and an opposite second major panel, with a first major panel extension extending from the first major panel. The two cartons are joined by securing each first major panel extension to the second major panel of the other carton, providing unbroken major panels for the assembled case. The minor panels/ends are also unbroken. Each extended first major panel and extension includes an unbroken upper closure flap extending the length of the panel and extension, which with the minor panel closure flaps extending from the top of the opposed ends of each carton, provides conventional upper closure for the assembled case which can be sealed using standard packaging machinery. The bottom closure flaps are conventional each carton of the case, although the upper closure may be applied to the lower closure flaps if so desired. The resulting coplanar flap surfaces, with the unbroken sides of the assembled case, provide stacking and compact storage of such cases as required. Tear strips and/or score lines may be formed vertically down the center of the extended major panels and panel extensions, to provide for separation of the two cartons forming the case without need for tools. Preferably, the two cartons are equal in size and rectangular. However, the present construction may also be applied to two mating cartons of unequal size and/or congruent trapezoidal shape.

A first liner may be attached to a first side of the folded material and a second liner may be attached to a second side of the folded material.

The side wall has an outer surface heated by the hot beverage in the cup. The cup holder comprises a single molded piece free of overlapping joints and free of adhesive and having at least three upstanding segments with each segment having upper and lower extremities. Hinges interconnect the three upstanding segments to retain the segments in a circular configuration with the segments being outwardly inclined to form a lower aperture which has a size substantially less than the size of the top rim of the cup and an upper aperture greater in size than the lower aperture permitting the cup holder to be nested before use. The hinges permit the lower extremity of the segments to be cammed outwardly as a cup is introduced through the upper aperture and through the lower aperture to engage the lower extremities of the segments and cam the lower extremities of the segments outwardly to thereby increase the size of the lower aperture to permit the cup to continue move therethrough and cam the upper extremities of the segments inwardly to come into frictional engagement with the side wall of the cup to frictionally retain the cup so that the cup is retained in the holder between the top rim and the bottom end.

摘要： A unitary multi-cell partition for packaging articles for use with a multi-sided carton or tray having a circumscribed space therein. The partition is formed of molded pulp and is capable of being disposed in the space and is adapted to receive the articles within the cells of the partition. The partition comprises a plurality of wall portions which are inclined from the vertical when the partition is free standing and free of the space in the carton or tray. The plurality of wall portions are arranged to provide a plurality of vertically disposed spaced-apart cells. The wall portions have upper and lower extremities and hinge portions joining certain of said upper extremities of the wall portions and joining certain of the lower extremities of the wall portions to permit bending of certain of the wall portions with respect to other of the wall portions. The wall portions of the partition form a partition which has dimensions which are greater than the space in the carton or tray whereby the partition must be compressed into a smaller size to fit within space in the carton or tray.
