摘要： A gas generator for a restraining device includes a housing formed by joining and integrating a diffuser shell having a gas discharge port and a closure shell, and a gas generating agent, an igniter, and a cylindrical filter, accommodated inside the housing. The housing has a top plate, a circumferential wall surface, and a bottom plate, and a plurality of protruding portions concaved inwardly and formed with a distance from each other on at least either of an upper annular corner portion located at a boundary portion between the top plate and the circumferential wall surface and a lower annular corner portion located at a boundary portion between the bottom plate and the circumferential wall surface. Part of the cylindrical filter is supported and fixed by the plurality of protruding portions, and a gap is provided between an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical filter and the gas discharge hole.
