摘要： The invention relates to a polystyrene sulfonate-containing gel preparation for therapy of hyperpotassemia, wherein the particle size of polystyrene sulfonate is controlled within the range of at least 5-100 &mgr;m, the viscosity of its solution before gelation is adjusted depending on the particle size by adding a thickening agent, and the polystyrene sulfonate particles after gelation is uniformly dispersed therein. More preferably, a water-displacing agent is contained, whereby the amount of water in the preparation is reduced. This gel preparation does not cause a sense of foreign matter or a sense of roughness in the oral cavity upon ingestion and intake, thus making it unnecessary to drink water for ingestion, and further its water content is low, so that control of water intake is made easy, even in the case of a patient with renal insufficiency who is subjecting to restriction in intake of water to significant improve the quality of life of the patient.

摘要： In multi-spindle head-replacing type machine tool comprising a machining unit disposed on a base for advancing and retreating movements between an original position and a machining position, a first annular guide rail including a movable rail integral with the machining unit and a stationary rail to surround the machining unit which is located in the original position, a second annular guide rail disposed concentrically with and at a place axially offset from the first guide rail, a plurality of multi-spindle heads travellably carried on each of the first and second guide rails, first and second index mechanisms releasably connected respectively to the multi-spindle heads on the first and second guide rails for driving such multi-spindle heads for angular displacement, and an elevator mechanism disposed sideways from the first and second guide rails at a place offset from the movable rail for providing replacement of the multi-spindle heads between the first and second guide rails, a part of the stationary rail of the first guide rail and a part of the second guide rail are divided as lift rails in a circular arc at a place corresponding to the elevator mechanism, respectively, and the elevator mechanism comprises an elevator connected to each of the lift rails of the first and second guide rails, and lift-drive means connected to the elevator which is to be raised and lowered between the first and second guide rails.

The transfer line has plural stages of working stations disposed in front and rear relationship. Each of the working stations has at least one machine tool for working on one of the workpieces on that station. Each of the machine tools comprises a ganghead replaceable machine tool having plural gangheads arranged to be selectively operable. Each of the working stations has, at a preceding position thereof, a front sensor for reading the kind of workpiece on a preceding position so that, in the course of conveying any of the workpieces to each of the working stations, one of the gangheads that corresponds to the kind of workpiece read is previously selected for operation by a signal obtained at the front sensor.
