摘要： In accordance with the described embodiments vehicular electronic control units and their operating methods are described which cost effectively compensate momentary external power loss by reducing the unit's power consumption while external power is lost. In an exemplary embodiment external power loss is detected by the electronic control unit's microprocessor. The microprocessor thereupon disables some components within the electronic control unit and operates with limited functionality for the duration of external power loss. The electronic control unit uses internal energy storage, e.g. a hold capacitor, to sustain its limited functionality operation. Upon recovery from the external power loss the electronic control unit resumes full operation.

摘要： A colored light for the passengers of a passenger transportation means, in particular for the cabin of an aircraft, comprises a plurality of illuminating means, each emitting electromagnetic waves in a narrow-band wavelength range, wherein the wavelength ranges preferably do not overlap each other. Further, the colored light is provided with a drive unit for driving the illuminating means such that a soothing or stimulating effect on the passengers can be achieved via the color sensation of the human eye and the thus triggered (bio-) chemical processes in the body.

摘要： A lamp, in particular a position lamp for a motor vehicle, has a housing in which at least one light source is arranged, with the housing having a light pane covering an opening of the housing, with the light source being structured as a plurality of light-emitting diodes. A light field formed by a plurality of similar first light-emitting diodes to produce a basic light-intensity distribution and at least one additional second light-emitting diode to produce a preferred light-intensity distribution is provided so that a predetermined total light-intensity distribution is obtained by superpositioning, or overlapping, of the basic light-intensity distribution and the preferred light-intensity distribution.
