    • A system and method for generating signals providing a synthesized wavefront phase to at least one receiver is disclosed. The system includes a buffer having a length of registers and a controller that sequences data through the length of registers. The controller determines at least two dynamically assignable registers along the length of registers to output the data. First and second signal generators are configured to receive the data from respective dynamically assignable registers. Using a clocking signal to sequence the data through the length of registers, the first and second signal generators provide the synthesized wavefront phase, based on the data received from the two dynamically assignable registers.

    • A new and useful propulsion apparatus for use by a swimmer is provided. The propulsion apparatus comprises (a) a support structure configured for connection to a swimmer's foot, and (b) a fin connected with the support structure by a flexible coupling in a manner that enables the fin to be stroked in alternating downstrokes and upstrokes by flexion of a swimmer's knees. The flexible coupling is configured to enable the fin to rotate in a first direction relative to the support structure during a downstroke, and the propulsion apparatus has a mechanical stop for limiting rotation of the fin in the first direction to physically set the angle of attack on the fin during a downstroke. The flexible coupling comprises an elastic suspension extending between the support structure and the fin, the elastic suspension being configured to (a) allow the fin to rotate in a second direction opposite to the first direction during an upstroke and (b) dynamically set the angle of attack during an upstroke.

    • Apparatus, devices and methods of multiple high aspect ratio hydrodynamic horizontal ladder oriented vanes with pliable hinges and rotation limiting flexible webs attached between semi-flexible support beams on swim fins. Pivotal rotation of the hydrofoil vanes can be restricted by flexible membranes, between the hydrofoil vanes and the support beams, to provide an optimum angle of attack for the hydrofoil vanes during a swimming stroke. The fins can have at least one pivoting vane region connected to the support beams with a flexible hinge member. The support beams can be fixedly or rotationally attached at one end to a foot pocket. Methods are provided for limiting the rotation of at least one of the pivoting vanes using flexible web members between vanes and the support beams. Methods for increasing lift and decreasing turbulence and drag on hydrofoils or vanes of the swim fins are also included.

    • A method for quickly installing and aligning drawer slides into articles for containing drawers. A magnetized backing strip having a magnetic laminate is attached to the rear panel of the article. Pieces of magnetized sheeting are attached to the rear ends of the mounting brackets at the rear of the drawer slides. The front ends of the drawer slides are loosely attached to the front surfaces of the drawer opening. A drawer is inserted, causing the drawer slides to assume their desired positions. When the drawer is removed, the drawer slides are held in place by magnetic force and can be attached to the desired places on the backing strips.
