The display device further includes a plurality of gate lines connected to the plurality of sensing units included in a first sensing unit group, at least one sensing signal line connected to the plurality of sensing units, a scan driver transmitting gate signals to the gate lines, and a sensing signal processor processing a sensing signal transmitted by the sensing signal line. The gate lines transmit the gate signals according to different gate clock signals.

Accordingly, a fast-moving motion picture may be realized without the need for an additional memory.

The image signal processing unit includes a first image interpolation unit and second image interpolation unit, which receive the (n−1)-th frame and the n-th frame and output a 2× image signal including at least one interpolated frame.

摘要： An apparatus of driving a liquid crystal display includes a signal controller. The signal controller has a frame memory and an image type detector. The signal controller compares image data for a present frame from an external device with image data for a previous frame stored in the frame memory and determines whether the image data represent still image. If the image data represent a sill image, the signal controller suspends a predetermined control operation and also suspends supply voltages to elements required for the predetermined control operation.
