摘要： A shower shaver is made from two plastic piece parts. A first part is a handle in the nature of a pipe terminating in a cavity. The other piece part delivers water which strikes a razor blade and then exits under the cutting edge of the blade with enough force to wash debris away from the blade. A valve on the shaver handle provides a continuously variable control over the flow of water to the shaver. A tubing or hose attached to the shower shaver leads to a nipple which may be interposed between an outlet and a pipe. A quick disconnect connector enables the tubing to be connected to or disconnected from the nipple. A bracket or hanger is attached to a wall in any suitable out of the way location in order to receive and support the shaver when the shaver and the quick disconnect connector on the tubing is not in use.

摘要： A whirlpool home appliance is built into a U-shaped housing for fitting over and clamping to the side of a bath tub. A water pump is in the side of the housing which is in the bath tub in order to energize the water in the tub. An air pump is in the side of the housing which is outside the tub in order to pump air to a bubbling bath mat which fits on the bottom of a bath tub. The motor for the appliance is a reversing motor which runs in either of two directions. A one-way clutch disconnects the water pump when the bubbling air mat is used. The air pump may run all of the time since the loading of an air pump is not so great that it must be disconnected when not in use. The housing is attached to the tub by a screw which has a large area of relatively soft padding with a radially distributed flexibility so that there is no abrupt discontinuity of clamping forces. The pad avoids and prevents damage to a plastic or fiber glass bath tub when the screw tightened.

摘要： An immersion detector comprises a pair of spring biased circuit breaking contacts for removing power from an appliance. The appliance has a sensing circuit which may become energized if it is dropped into a body of an electrically conductive liquid, such as a sink full of water. An SCR is connected to each side of the line and is triggered by an energization of said sensing circuit so that it is irrelevant which side of the line is hot and which side is at neutral. When either SCR conducts, a solenoid releases the spring bias which causes the circuit breaking contacts to fly apart.
