More particularly, the invention concerns a device which is particularly effective in harnessing and transmitting air current energy to an in-line skater in a controllable, simple, and intuitive manner. The device is simple to construct, rugged and durable, and safer to use than conventional sail devices. The device is easily disassembled and in the disassembled state assists the skater to return to an upwind starting position.
