摘要： The invention relates to an anti-emetic composition that comprises dexamethasone (DEX), metoclopramide (MTC) and an antihistamine or an anticholinergic agent. In a particular embodiment, a composition containing DEX:MTC:diphenhydramine in a relative weight ratio of about 1:1:2.5, respectively, is found to be effective in providing relief from the discomfort caused by symptoms of both vomiting and nausea in all patients receiving the composition. Alternatively, an effective composition may contain DEX:MTC:scopolamine in a relative weight ratio of about 1:1:0.025, respectively. Other effective compositions and methods of their use are also disclosed.
