    • A hanger has a pinch-grip including a pair of vertically-extending components, a biasing spring, and a connector separate and distinct from the biasing spring. The connector pivotably secures together the upper ends of the components for movement, prior to application of the biasing spring to the components, between a substantially unfolded orientation, wherein the components lie in a common plane, and a substantially folded orientation, wherein the components are generally parallel. The connector is integrally molded with the components and configured and dimensioned to lie between the upper ends thereof when the components are in the folded orientation, without substantially inhibiting movement of the upper or lower ends between the closed and open positions.

    • A plant pot which not only is capable, when empty, of being conveniently and compactly stored or "nested" in a columnar formation along with other unfilled pots like itself, but also has the ability, after a plant and growing medium have been placed in the pot, to be stacked in any of a number of orderly and stable arrangements among other planted pots, also of the same construction. Stacking of plant-containing pots is made possible by a plurality of interlock stacking grooves provided on the bottom of each pot. Six (6) grooves are provided, and the sides of every other groove define an arced ledge that can be rested upon and abutted against the inner periphery of the rim of another pot so that a number of pots can be arranged to form a securely stacked structure. Additionally, the pot of the present invention includes in its rim portion three strategically placed slots designed for receiving and securely holding identification tags and/or other informational tabs, tags or fixtures and for making the tags, etc. "tamper evident".

    • The invention relates to a plant tray for holding and supporting potted plants. The invention includes a spacer support rack and at least one riser with a ring at its topmost surface. Within the ring is a plurality of tabs for supporting plant pots of different sizes. The spacer support rack is configured to allow equal spacing between the plants when placed in the plant tray. This allows for optimization of the health of the plant and the space available to the grower. The spacer support rack is constructed in a manner that multiple plant trays can be nested on top of each other, allowing them to be stored in a directly vertical arrangement maximizing the use of the storage space available.

    • A container for shipping or transporting one or more young plants or seedlings, especially through the mail. The container has an open top and is made preferably of a thin, very light-weight, thermoformed plastic. The container is divided into two sections: a bottom section for receiving the plant pot and/or root ball and an upper section for receiving the stem and leaves. A cover is connected by a living hinge to the bottom section. The cover acts to hold the plant pot and/or root ball in place and to reduce evaporation of moisture from the root region of the plant. The container is provided with a wall separating the upper and bottom sections. The wall is supplied with a smoothly contoured notch that permits the plant stem to pass from the bottom section to the upper section, and the cover or lid utilizes a "V"-shaped projecting member to gently direct the plant's leaves and stem into the contoured notch. A combination of engaging recesses and projections form a closure system that holds the lid in place.
