    • A wheelchair including a seat body and at least one wheel module disposed at a bottom of the seat body is provided. The wheel module includes a motor, at least one wheel, and a transmission unit coupled between the motor and the wheel. The transmission unit has at least one one-way bearing. The motor outputs a first rotating moment and a second rotating moment with opposite directions to the transmission unit. The one-way bearing transmits one of the first rotating moment and the second rotating moment to the wheel to drive the wheel to roll, such that the seat body is in linear motion, or so the wheel module rotates relative to the seat body in the directions of the first or the second rotating moments. The shafts of the first and the second rotating moments are perpendicular to the rotating shaft of the wheel.

    • A human-environment interactive system and a portable device using the same are provided. The human-environment interactive system includes a ubiquitous computing system, at least one home-equipment, and the portable device. The portable device is suitable for two-way communicating with the portable device, and includes a RF transceiver, a browser, and a controller. When the portable device is taken into an environmental space, the controller actively receives a set of situational information from the ubiquitous computing system through the RF transceiver. The situational information includes a status information of at least one home-equipment, and a real time position information of the portable device. The controller displays this set of situational information in the browser for a user to perceive variations of the surrounding environment, so as to operate the at least one home-equipment through the browser.

    • An improvement of the pop-up mechanism for an extendable handle of wheeled luggage is disclosed. The popup mechanism comprises an additional elastic device in the overlaying section of the sliding tube and the support tube for cooperating with a first elastic device and a fastening device. Once the push button is pressed by a hand the sliding tube locked by the pin of the push button is unlocked and thus the sliding tube moves downward a predetermined distance. In this manner, the hand pressing the push button previously will be able to leave the push button unattended. Then use the same hand to push down the sliding tube to its lowest locked position. As a result, the purpose of retracting the handle by a single hand is fulfilled.
