    • Ink delivery systems to provide ink from a reservoir to an applicator pad for marking a surface. Ink is stored in a reservoir within a marker body. A valve system controls the flow of ink to the applicator pad to prevent puddling of ink on the marking surface. The reservoir is a hollow body with free flowing ink or may contain a fiber reservoir at least partially saturated with ink. The reservoir may also contain capillary channels and ribs to aid in transporting ink to the valve system. The valve system includes a plug and a spring to bias the plug in a closed position. The plug includes at least one contact surface to contact a housing, and thereby control the flow of ink from the reservoir to the applicator pad. The spring may be a coil spring or a compressible foam-like spring.

    • A self-sealing stamping device suitable for use with non-alcohol based inks is described. The stamping device includes an applicator that has raised features for providing a stamped design. The applicator also includes sealing features that mate with sealing features on an inkpad housing to provide one or more airtight seals therebetween. The inkpad housing provides an enclosure for an inkpad with one or more apertures. Sealing features are provided circumscribing the apertures for mating with sealing features of the applicator. In a closed position, the stamping device provides an airtight enclosure for the inkpad comprised of the inkpad housing and the applicator.

    • An apparatus for generating bubbles from a stationary loop inside a housing is described. The device includes a housing, a reservoir of bubble-making solution, a fan that generates an air stream, and a pump that supplies said bubble-making solution to a stationary film-producing mechanism. The stationary film-producing mechanism comprises a loop with an opening through which air travels, a film-forming edge, a bubble-releasing edge, a first orifice on an exterior surface of the loop, and a second orifice on an interior surface of the loop. Solution supplied to the film-producing mechanism enters the loop through the first orifice, exits the loop through the second orifice, and forms a film of solution along the film-forming edge of the loop, wherein at least one bubble of solution is released from the bubble-releasing edge.

    • An apparatus for generating bubbles from a plurality of bubble solutions is described. The apparatus includes a housing with a motor and fan disposed therein. A plurality of bubble wands are operatively coupled to the motor. A plurality of reservoirs for the bubble solutions are also coupled to the housing. In operation, the motor rotates the fan to produce an air stream exiting the housing. The bubble wands are rotated about their central hub to engage the reservoirs and be drawn through the bubble solutions therein. The bubble wands continue along their rotational path to pass through the air stream and thus produce a plurality of bubbles. Each of the reservoirs might contain a different colored bubble solution to thus produce bubbles of each of the different colors by the respective wands that engage the reservoirs.
