摘要： A device for filling a flexible container and a method thereof are disclosed. The device may include a pressurizing chamber and an evacuation chamber. A first displacement piston is sealingly and slideably arranged within the pressurizing chamber to define an inner volume within the pressurizing chamber that is fluidly connected to a pressurizing conduit. A second displacement piston is sealingly and slideably arranged within the evacuation chamber to define an inner volume within the evacuation chamber that is fluidly connected to an evacuation conduit. A reservoir adapter is fluidly connected to the pressurizing conduit and connects to a liquid reservoir. A container adapter is fluidly connected to the evacuation conduit and connects with a flexible container. A transfer conduit is fluidly connected to the reservoir adapter and the container adapter. A valve fluidly connects the container adapter to the evacuation conduit or the transfer conduit.

摘要： Micro-fluidic chambers for use in a liquid medicament delivery system, include a bottom substrate and a top cover, the top cover being spaced from the bottom substrate so as to define a height of the chamber, wherein, one or more walls or fillings are positioned in the chamber, the walls or fillings defining a fluid channel there between such that the fluid channel extends from an inlet of the chamber to an outlet of the chamber, wherein, each of the walls or fillings has a height less than the height of the chamber so as to define a fluid gap between a top surface of each wall or filling and the top cover; and wherein, the dimensions of the walls or fillings and the chamber are such that the fluid gap will be filled with liquid by capillary forces via the fluid channel when liquid is introduced into the fluid chamber.

摘要： A device, kit, and method for transferring a liquid medicament from a supply container to a flexible reservoir container are disclosed. The device may comprise a compartment unit and an adapter unit. The compartment unit may have a sealingly closable chamber, arranged for housing the flexible reservoir container and for being fluidly connected with a pump mechanism. The adapter unit may have at least one transfer passage for transferring liquid from a supply container connected to the adapter unit to the flexible reservoir container, and a separator arranged in the transfer passage for separating gas bubbles from a liquid streaming through the transfer passage. The separator may be fluidly connected to the chamber.

摘要： Cannula assemblies with pressure sensors made of stacked coplanar layers and ambulatory infusion systems comprising the same are disclosed. The cannula assemblies include a hub and an infusion cannula. The hub includes a pressure sensor and a fluid channel fluidly coupled to the infusion cannula. The pressure sensor is formed from a stack of coplanar layers including a top layer, a base layer an electrode layer and a counter electrode layer. The fluid channel is positioned between the top layer and the base layer. The electrode layer is positioned between the top layer and the base layer and coupled to the fluid channel. The counter-electrode layer is positioned between the top layer and the electrode layer. A spacer layer having a through cut-out defining an electrode cavity is disposed between the top layer and the base layer such that the electrode layer extends across the electrode cavity.

摘要： In one embodiment, a method of filling a container with a liquid drug from a drug reservoir may include: a) connecting a container and a drug reservoir with a cannula such that the drug reservoir and the container fluidically communicate with each other via the cannula, while being hermetically sealed; b) reducing a first volume contained within the container to displace a gaseous medium from the first volume of the container via the cannula into a second volume contained within the drug reservoir; c) increasing the first volume of the container to displace the liquid drug from the second volume of the drug reservoir into the first volume of the container to fill the container; and d) disconnecting the container and the drug reservoir. Before performing action d), action b) and action c) can be successively performed more than once to stepwise increase an amount of liquid drug displaced.

The infusion set can comprise a disposable part, a reusable part, and an electrically powered functional component. The disposable part can comprise a single lumen infusion cannula that projects from the underside and is the only skin piercing or penetrating element of the infusion set. The reusable part when in the interconnected state is fluidically isolated from the disposable part. The disposable part can comprise a feeding line which fluidically connects an upstream end of the first connector with a downstream end of a cannula to feed and deliver the medicament via the disposable part and bypass the reusable part.
