    • A multi-domain vertical alignment liquid crystal display and a lower substrate thereof are disclosed. The voltage provided by coupling electrode lines is swung between a high voltage level and a low voltage level. Therefore, with different coupling of a large pixel electrode and of a small pixel electrode that both receive the same color displaying data, the voltage on the large pixel electrode is different from that on the small pixel electrode. The tilt angle of the liquid crystal between the large pixel electrode and the upper electrode is different from the tilt angle of the liquid crystal between the small pixel electrode and the upper electrode for compensating the gamma value of the color. Besides, through adjusting the value of the voltage respectively on the coupling electrode lines to compensate the gamma values of different colors and the gamma values of different colors will tend to be uniform.

    • A computer-implemented method for reducing phishing attacks that employ malicious websites is provided. The computer-implemented method includes gathering information about potentially malicious websites from a plurality of sources. The computer-implemented method also includes reducing the number of potentially malicious websites gathered; thereby creating a malicious website database that tracks at least a subset of the potentially malicious websites. In addition, the computer-implemented method includes generating a malicious website blacklist from the malicious website database, each website in the malicious website blacklist satisfying inclusion criteria, wherein the malicious website blacklist is employed to decide whether an access request to a given website is permitted.

    • A back cover, a middle frame, and a front cap are utilized as a sandwich package for packaging a portable storage device. An electronic element passes through the hollow middle frame and the middle frame holds the electronic element. The back cover covers the back end of the middle frame and the front cap covers the front end of the middle frame for fully packaging the electronic element. A moveable outer frame on the middle frame allows for withstanding the back cover and eliminating the manufacturing dimensional error of the PCB of the electronic element between the PCB and the back cover. The front cap covers the front end of the middle frame instead of the USB connector and provides the USB connector of the portable device more durability.

    • A direction-lockable seat assembly for a motor vehicle includes an upright seat post that defines a pivot axis, a seat member mounted on top of the seat post such that the seat member is rotatable about the pivot axis, and a direction-locking device that includes a locking plate, a slide guide unit, and a locking pin. The locking plate has a plate body mounted on top of the seat post and formed with a plurality of angularly spaced apart locking grooves. The slide guide unit is mounted on the seat member, and is formed with a slide channel to be aligned with a selected locking groove. The locking pin is movably disposed in the slide channel, and is operable to extend into the selected locking groove so as to arrest rotation of the seat member.
