    • Apparatus and method for WS-Policy based web service controlling. The apparatus includes: a service policy repository for storing a plurality of Web Service policies; a service policy agent for receiving a request for a Web Service policy from a service consumer and for obtaining conditioning information that influences the Web Service policy; and a service policy conditioner for selecting corresponding Web Service policy from the service policy repository in accordance with the conditioning information. The service policy agent sends the Web Service policy to the service consumer. The Web Service policy-based service differentiation method decouples the service differentiation mechanism from the service provision and service invocation mechanism and can provide policy support in accordance with other nonfunctional conditions besides service functions.

    • A fastening device for two hard disk drives (HDDs) includes a tray, two brackets, and an engaging member. A first side plate of the tray defines a first slide slot extending forward, and a second slide slot extending backward. The brackets are respectively fastened to the HDDs. One of the brackets includes a first protrusion slidably received in the first slide slot, and the other bracket includes a second protrusion slidably received in the second slide slot. A first end of the engaging member is rotatably mounted to two end plates of the brackets facing each other, a second end of the engaging member is detachably mounted to the end paltes.

    • A server system includes a number of servers and a server holder. Each server includes two opposite sidewalls with each having a sliding rail formed thereon. The server holder includes two opposite lateral plates and a number of supporting structures. Each lateral plate defines a plurality of rows of receiving holes. Each supporting structure is received in one receiving hole, and includes a supporting block and a torsion spring positioned on the supporting bock. The supporting block is pivotably connected to one of the lateral plates, defines a sliding slot, and includes a resisting surface facing towards interior of the server holder. The sliding rail is slidable along the sliding slot. The torsion spring is configured for providing an elastic force to push the supporting block to keep the resisting surface resisting against one sidewall.

    • A server holder includes two opposite lateral plates and a number of supporting structures. Each lateral plate includes a main body, a number of strip-shaped portions protruding outwards from the main body, and a number of upper connecting portions. Each upper connecting portion connects a top end of one strip-shaped portion to the main body. Each strip-shaped portion and an adjacent upper connecting portion cooperatively define a number of T-shaped latching grooves running through the strip-shaped portion and the upper connecting portion. Each supporting structure includes a fixing strip, a supporting strip, and a number of T-shaped latching protrusions. The fixing strip is attached to the inner surface of the strip-shaped portion. The supporting strip connects to a side of the fixing strip for supporting a server. The T-shaped latching protrusions extend upwards from the fixing strip. Each T-shaped latching protrusion is latched in the T-shaped latching groove.
