    • The invention provides an optical touch device, including a main body, a keyboard and a light emitting member. The keyboard, placed on the main body and having a first end portion and a second end portion, includes a supporting frame, a keycap and a stopping member. The keycap is connected to the supporting frame and moves between a first position and a second position. The stopping member is connected to the keycap and moves simultaneously with the keycap. The light emitting member generates a light beam to the keyboard. When the keycap is in the first position, the light beam passes through the first end portion to the second end portion, and when the keycap is in the second position, the light beam is terminated by the stopping member, such that the light does not reach the second end portion.

    • The invention provides a high-definition video conference system and method. The high-definition video conference system, according to the invention, uses an encoding module for compressing a plurality of usable digital signals under a high-definition compression standard into a plurality of compressed digital signals, and an instant-messaging application for transmitting the compressed digitals to a second terminal apparatus. The second terminal apparatus uses a decoding module for decompressing the plurality of compressed digital signals under the high-definition compression standard to obtain a plurality of image signals, and a displaying module for displaying the image signals. Therefore, the high-definition video conference system of the invention can achieve high-definition video conference applications even under limited hardware performance and network transmission bandwidth.

    • The invention discloses a cursor control method applied to a presentation system. The presentation system comprises a computer, an imaging plane, an optical pointer, a camera, and a projector. The projector is a mobile or built-in projector of the computer for projecting output from the computer onto the imaging plane, wherein the output of the computer comprises an internal cursor generated by the computer. The optical pointer is used for projecting an external cursor onto the imaging plane. The camera is a mobile or built-in camera of the computer for capturing an image of the imaging plane. After capturing the image, a processor of the computer detects both a first position of the external cursor and a second position of the internal cursor corresponding to the image, calculates a shift vector between the first and second positions, and moves the internal cursor based on the shift vector.
