    • A sealing curtain assembly for door or window openings having a pair of tracks attached to frame members which are fixed to a base, a curtain having edges slidably engaging the tracks and being reversibly insertable into covers over each track, and hinges on each cover, whereby the hinges facilitate the lowering and raising of the curtain. Each track has a raised lip over which the curtain slides as the curtain moves up or down, the lip maintaining a seal against air flow, even when the curtain is distended upon the application of pressure. The bottom of the curtain has a weighted member and the base has spring clamps. As the curtain is lowered the weighted member engages the spring clamps causing the covers to press against the tracks, thereby providing a tight seal against airflow.

    • A durable sealing curtain assembly preferably comprising a pair of tracks slidably attached to opposite sides of an opening such as a door or window, a curtain having its lateral edges engaged by the tracks, and spring systems attached to each track, whereby the spring systems urge the tracks outwardly to maintain the curtain taut yet allow the tracks to slide inwardly towards the center of the opening so that the curtain does not endure excessive pressure upon application of an external force. At least one track preferably also comprises a cam mechanism that is operative to urge the track inwardly to release tension from the curtain and thereby allow the curtain to be more easily raised or lowered, after which, the cam mechanism can be disengaged to allow the track to return to its outwardly biased position, thus returning the curtain to a taut condition.

    • A vehicle and texting monitoring device communicates with an on board diagnostics port of a vehicle, a phone in the vehicle, and a remote electronic device to permit remote monitoring of vehicle conditions and texting within the vehicle while the vehicle is being operated. The device includes a housing and a processor coupled to and positioned in the housing. A connector is configured for coupling to a digital communications port of a vehicle wherein the processor is communicatively coupled to a plurality of subsystems of the vehicle. A transceiver is communicatively coupled to the processor wherein the transceiver transmits data to and from the processor wherein the transceiver defines a communications gateway between the processor and the vehicle, a phone positioned in the vehicle, and an extrinsic electronic device. Thus, the extrinsic electronic device monitors functional aspects of the vehicle and use of the phone positioned in the vehicle.
