摘要： A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed. The mobile terminal includes a solar cell module and a selective transmitting member for selectively transmitting light, thereby supplying the light to the solar cell module selectively. Accordingly, since a light-transmitting display and a solar cell module are stacked on each other, the present invention enables a user to appreciate information displayed on the light-transmitting display while enabling the solar cell module to charge a battery. Moreover, since the light having passed through a light-transmitting display can be reflected by a selective transmission member provided between the light-transmitting display and a solar cell module, the present invention is able to enhance readability of information displayed on the light-transmitting display.

摘要： The invention relates to a battery pack having a dual-type smart card interface. In one embodiment, a battery pack is connectable to a mobile communication terminal having at least one contact for a power supply and at least one contact for communication with the mobile communication terminal. The battery pack comprises a battery cell, an RF antenna, a slide-type connector, a contact-type connector coupled to the RF antenna, a plurality of battery pack contacts, which are coupled to the mobile communication terminal electrically, for supplying power to the mobile communication terminal and for communication with the mobile communication terminal, an SCR, which is coupled to the slide-type connector and the contact-type connector respectively, for reading data stored on a smart card that is coupled to either the slide-type connector or the contact-type connector and for writing data received from the mobile communication terminal on the smart card, and a battery protection circuit, which is located between the battery cell and the plurality of battery pack contacts, for protecting the battery cell from an instantaneous power surge.

摘要： A mobile terminal for use in a wireless communication includes a first slide member, a second slide member, and a shielded cable. The first slide member includes a first surface having a display module and a second surface having a circuitry for controlling the mobile terminal, and opposite side edges configured to operate as slide guides. The first slide member is substantially covered with a front case. The second slide member includes opposite facing slide rails to slidably engage the opposite side edges of the first slide member. The first and second slide members are operatively coupled using an elastic module to bias the first and second slide members to one of open and closed positions. The shielded cable electronically couples a battery disposed in the second slide member to the circuitry disposed in the first slide member.
