摘要： A method and system for administering a rewards program associated with a payment card issued to a customer is provided. The customer's purchase activity with the payment card is monitored and used to award redemption value, or rewards points, to the user in a familiar manner. The customer is permitted to redeem some or all of his or her points to offset specific transactions made using the payment card. The rewards program may also award redemption value for non-purchase activity, such as completing surveys and signing up for additional bank products. In other embodiments, the customer earns redemption value in connection with activity taking place in a first bank account and is permitted to redeem that value in favor of a second bank account.

摘要： A float mounting plate is provided for a dishwasher to limit the level of water in the dishwasher tub. The float has a stem extending downwardly through a stand pipe in the bottom of the tub and into a switch bracket which houses the water level control switch. A tab is provided on the switch bracket which is adapted to extend around the float stem, thereby slidably retaining the retainer ring of the stem for engagement and disengagement with the switch, and limiting lateral or horizontal movement of the stem. In one embodiment, the tab is integrally formed with the bracket, with a living hinge allowing the tab to pivot between open and closed positions. In a second embodiment, the tab snap fits onto the bracket to capture the float stem.

摘要： Various “no filter, no run” fuel filtration designs are described that include a variable restriction orifice (VRO) designed to vary the amount of fluid, for example fuel, that reaches a fluid outlet. The VRO has a fully open position at which a maximum non-zero fluid flow is permitted, and a fully closed position at which a limited amount of fluid can flow to the outlet. In the case of diesel fuel, the amount of fuel flow permitted at the fully closed position provides lubrication of downstream fuel system components, for example the fuel pump, but is insufficient to permit engine operation.
