摘要： A hand-shake correction apparatus and method for a camera module for typical use in a mobile device. A camera unit includes an angular velocity sensor for sensing an angular velocity of a hand-shake motion of a camera, a position detection sensor for detecting a current position of an image sensor, and an actuator for actuating the image sensor. An Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) circuit unit controls the actuator using a multi-rate Proportional Integrate Derivative (PID) control scheme that performs control a plurality of times using a shorter control period compared with existing PID controls for a basic period, in which a reference value is updated according to a control reference value by which the image sensor optimally shifts to correct a hand-shake motion.

摘要： A method and apparatus for compensating hand-trembling of a camera with reduced time required for capture compensated images. The method may include: calculating exposure time proper for preventing hand-trembling using an AE (Automatic Exposure) algorithm during an image-capturing standby mode; executing image-capturing multiple times depending on the exposure time at the time of inputting a photographing signal through a photographing button, and detecting the amount of hand-trembling at each time of image-capturing. The storing of images can be selected by a preset number of required images from the captured images as resultant images, the images being sequentially stored from an image having a lowest amount of hand-trembling as a resultant image, whereby an image with reduced hand-trembling can be obtained.

摘要： An electro-absorptive optical modulator module monolithic-integrated on a semiconductor substrate, which includes a distributed feedback laser having a grating for oscillating light and to output the oscillated light through a first end and a second end of the module. An electro-absorptive modulator modulates a first light output through the first end of the distributed feedback laser, and an optical detector provides detection of a second light output through the second end of the module. The optical detector is formed opposite to the second end of the distributed feedback laser on the semiconductor substrate. A first inner window permits attenuation of the intensity of the second light and electrically insulates the distributed feedback laser and the optical detector from each other, with the first inner window being arranged between the distributed feedback laser and the optical detector.
