摘要： A hydrophilic, high molecular weight nonionic polyurethane, characterized by solubility in water and by a specific viscosity of at least 0.4 (1% by weight solution at 20° C.) is provided. 摘要： The invention is an adhesive system for applying wrap around labels to containers. The system comprises a hotmelt pick-up adhesive which is active at the temperature which the label is applied and loses its bonding ability after the adhesive sets and an overlap adhesive for bonding the label overlap. At its application temperature, the pick-up adhesive has significantly higher adhesiveness, measured at its application temperature than at its conventional storage temperature. In addition, the adhesive preferably has a greater affinity for the label than for the container bearing the label. Consequently, the label can be easily removed from the hollow body without leaving residues of adhesive. If, nevertheless, a residual adhesive should remain on the hollow body, it can be dissolved by an alkaline solution.

摘要： The invention relates to a contact adhesive based on a polyurethane of at least one diisocyanate and at least one low molecular weight polyethylene glycol, the polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of up to 2,000 and the polyurethane having a degrees of crystallization of less than 20%. The contact adhesive can be applied from the melt or from an aqueous solution or dispersion. Surprisingly, it is suitable not only for polar plastic surface, but above all for PE and PP surfaces and of course for paper. Accordingly, the contact adhesive is preferably useful for applying paper labels to PE bottles.

摘要： The invention relates to an adhesive system for labeling containers, more especially hollow containers, with wrap-around labels. The adhesive system comprises a pick-up adhesive and an overlap adhesive. It is characterized in that, in the wet state, the pick-up adhesive has sufficient wet bond strength for labeling and, in the dried state, does not adhere to at least one of the substrates. The pickup adhesive contains 5 to 85% by weight and preferably 5 to 60% by weight of at least one water-soluble polymer based on casein, starch, dextrin, glucose, polyvinyl alcohol, polyurethane or polyacrylic acid, 0.00 to 1.00% by weight and preferably 0.01 to 0.30% by weight of at least one defoamer, 0.00 to 1.00% by weight and preferably 0.01 to 0.30% by weight of at least one preservative and water as the balance to 100% by weight.
