摘要： Some embodiments provide an apparatus for controlling the motion of a camera component. In some embodiments, the apparatus includes an actuator module. The actuator module includes a plurality of magnets. Each magnet of the plurality of magnets is poled with magnetic domains substantially aligned in the same direction throughout each magnet. The apparatus further includes a coil rigidly disposed around a lens. Each magnet of the plurality of magnets contributes to the forces to adjust focus of the lens based on Lorentz forces generated from the coil.

摘要： A contact lens package that is reusable as a case to store a contact lens between uses includes a lid, a base, one or more receptacles for a contact lens case, and a time keeping device. The time keeping device comprises an indicator for each one or more receptacles that indicates a period of time that has elapsed since the contact lens case currently in the receptacle was placed therein. A display projection system in a handheld sensor device (e.g. a handheld wall scanner) projects a static or computer-controlled dynamic pattern of light onto a surface being scanned to indicate a specific feature, such as existence of solid structures of wood, metal or plastic, electric or magnetic fields, or a disturbance of a field. The projected light may be controlled by a computer via an aperture to allow flexibility in what is projected, such as icons, lines, graphics, characters and colors.

摘要： Interrogator/receiver apparatus is disclosed for transmitting a first signal to, and receiving a second signal from a remote transponder. In the preferred embodiment, the transponder is a passive, surface acoustic wave device which receives the first signal, processes this signal and transmits, in reply, the second signal which includes a unique identification code. The interrogator/receiver apparatus includes (1) a common RF unit for generating the first (interrogation) signal and (2) a plurality of transmitter/receiver heads, each remote from, and coupled to the common signal generator, for transmitting the first signal to, and receiving the second signal from a transponder or transponders in its vicinity. Advantageously, each transmitter/receiver head includes a signal mixer which performs four quadrant multiplication of the first signal by the second signal to produce a third, audio frequency signal containing frequencies equal to the instantaneous difference between the frequencies of the first and second signals. One of the mixer inputs is coupled to the RF transmission line connected to the common RF signal generator, or to a transmit amplifier connected to the transmission line; the other mixer input is connected to a directional coupler that, in turn, is connected to a common transmit/receive antenna. This directional coupler operates to pass the first signal from the transmission line, or transmit amplifier, to the antenna and to pass the second signal from the antenna to the mixer.

摘要： A contact lens package that is reusable as a case to store a contact lens between uses includes a bottom member having a well with an inside generally concave shape, and a wall rising above the well and ending in a top rim defining an opening; a temporary seal comprising a moisture-proof film sealed across the top rim to seal the opening, thus defining a volume within the package, the volume containing a contact lens and contact lens fluid; and a cap secured to the bottom member covering the temporary seal, the cap being removable to give access to the temporary seal and replaceable on the bottom member thereafter to provide storage of the contact lens between uses thereof.The contact lens package and storage case can be used as part of a system having a generally flat base member with two receptacles and indicia identifying one of the receptacles as being for a left eye contact lens package and the other of the receptacles as being for a right eye contact lens package; and a plurality of contact lens packages each comprising: a bottom member configured to be received by one of said receptacles and held securely onto the base; a cap secured to the bottom member to enclose a volume; and a contact lens and contact lens fluid within the volume; wherein the plurality of contact lens packages include a generally equal plural number of packages containing a contact lens to be used in the left eye of a contact lens wearer and packages containing a contact lens to be used in the right eye of a contact lens wearer.
