摘要： A sheet mesh of plastics material for application to roof guttering to prevent the entry of unwanted materials into the guttering. In use the mesh is affixed along one edge to the roof and along the opposite edge (46) to the top outside edge of the guttering. The mesh comprises a first array of parallel strands (42) aligned in a first direction integrally moulded with a second array of parallel strands (44) aligned substantially at right angles to the first array. The strands (44) in the second array are made from a stiffer material than that from which the strands in the first array (42) are made. The mesh is preferably manufactured as a co-extrusion of LDPE-rich and HDPE-rich materials.

摘要： The present invention provides a novel compound exhibiting an excellent inhibitory action on AMPA receptor and/or kainate receptor. That is, it provides a compound represented by the following formula, a salt thereof or a hydrate of them. In the formula, A1, A2 and A3 are independent of each other and each represents a C3-8 cycloalkyl group, a C3-8 cycloalkenyl group, a 5- to 14-membered non-aromatic heterocyclic group, a C6-14 aromatic hydrocarbon cyclic group or a 5- to 14-membered aromatic heterocyclic group, each of which may be substituted; Q represents O, S or NH; Z represents C or N; X1, X2 and X3 are independent of each other and each represents a single bond, an optionally substituted C1-6 alkylene group, an optionally substituted C2-6 alkenylene group, an optionally substituted C2-6 alkynylene group, —NH—, —O—, —NHCO—, —CONH—, —SO0-2—, etc.; R1 and R2 are independent of each other and each represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl group, or R1 and R2 may be bound together such that CR2-ZR1 forms C═C; and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl group etc., or may be bound to any atom in A1 or A3 to form, together with the atom, an optionally substituted C5-8 hydrocarbon ring or an optionally substituted 5- to 8-membered heterocyclic ring.

摘要： A screen applied to overlay a guttering (14) on an outside edge of a roof of a building to prevent the entry of unwanted materials such as leaves into the guttering. The screen has a panel (15) of mesh affixed along one of its edges to the roof and along the opposite edge to the top outside edge of the guttering (14). The mesh is formed of moulded plastics material and comprises a top face (38) and a bottom face (40), a first array of longitudinal strands aligned in the direction of the edge of the panel, and a second array of lateral strands, integrally moulded with and aligned at right angles to the first array. The arrays define mesh apertures therebetween extending from said top face to said bottom face. The thickness of the longitudinal strands extends for substantially the full thickness of the mesh while the thickness of the lateral strands extends along their full length, from said top face to less than 80% of the thickness of the mesh. The lateral strands are spaced closer to each other than are the longitudinal strands and the apertures have an oval shape with their longer axis parallel to the lateral strands.
