    • A vibrating centrifuge having a separation screen that is rotated and vibrated to separate a material, typically slurry (e.g. coal slurry). The separation screen is vibrated by a vibrator, such as an unbalanced motor. One or more constraint members, preferably leaf springs, are provided that restrict vibration generated by the vibrator to a single degree of freedom that is parallel to the drive shaft axis. The vibrating centrifuge has a biasing member in the form of a compression spring to tune the vibration frequency. Optionally a tuning mass can also be used to tune the vibration frequency.

    • A shield assembly for installation on a portion of a printed circuit board is presented. The shield (16) assembly includes shield mounted on the component mounting side of the printed circuit board and has a plurality of support projections (30) inserted through apertures of the printed circuit board to the conductor side where they are mechanically secured and electrically connected to a reference potential. A first shield cover (22) is mounted to the shield at a peripheral edge distal of the printed circuit board. A second shield cover (34) is disposed at the conductor side of the printed circuit board. The second shield cover (34) is provided with two pluralities of protrusions (32, 42). The first plurality of protrusions (32) extends through apertures in the printed circuit board to engage the body of the shield. The second plurality of protrusions (42) engages respective support projections (30) of the shield.

    • A method comprises storing data relating to the wear of a component of at least one turbine system in a database of a system for processing wear related information, generating a displayable menu containing a plurality of user-selectable links respectively associated with software modules of the system, and receiving an on-line selection of one of the user-selectable links to enable the associated software module of the system to generate displayable content including information relating to the wear of the component of the turbine system. The selected module may enable a quantitative amount of the wear of the component or qualitative wear range characterizing the amount of the wear of the component to be input and received on-line. Alternatively, the selected module may enable a component type to be input and received on-line and display a component fleet leader.
