    • Personalized and targeted training systems and methods for controlling completion of an individualized training are described. An example method can commence with receiving a user performance report associated with a user and user data associated with the user. The user performance report includes user performance metrics. Based on the user performance report and the user data, a probability of completion of the individualized training by the user is predicted using multiple varying characteristics. If the probability is below a predefined completion threshold, at least one intervention action is applied to the user. Additionally, the method includes creating an individualized training based on the user data and at least one specific metric identified based on the user performance metrics. The individualized training includes training assignments designed to improve the at least one specific metric.

    • A system for learning assessment comprising, in one example embodiment, comprises a simulator interface to provide to a learner information concerning a continuing education activity and to present a case scenario related to the continuing education activity, a communication module to receive actions performed by the learner at the simulator interface, the actions intended to manage the case scenario, a tracking module to track and record the actions performed by the learner, and an evaluation module to evaluate the actions in view of a predetermined expected action outcome and, based on the evaluation, to produce a score indicative of an ability of the learner to apply the information concerning the continuing education activity. In one example embodiment, the continuing education activity is related to an electronic health record (EHR), the simulator interface is a skin of the EHR, and the learner is a medical provider.

The system may also comprise a statistics module to provide statistics accessible by clicking on a point in a graph associated with the skill acquisition and demonstration of skill mastery. The demonstration of skill mastery may be provided by a support staff while assessing the mastery of a specific skill. The system may operate in substantially real time.
