    • An extendable conveyor disclosed herein includes a base unit including a fixed base unit section positionable onto a ground and a mechanically extendable base unit section. The mechanically extendable base unit is adjustably positionable incrementally between a fully nested position within the fixed base unit section and a fully extended position telescoped forwardly from the fixed base unit section. A mechanically extendable conveyor section is coupled to the mechanically extendable base unit section, where the mechanically extendable conveyor section is adjustably positionable incrementally between a fully nested position within the mechanically extendable base unit section and a fully extended position telescoped forwardly from the mechanically extendable base unit section. A conveying surface to convey articles extends at least partially on an upper side of the fixed base unit section, the mechanically extendable base unit section and the mechanically extendable conveyor section. The mechanically extendable base unit section and the mechanically extendable conveyor section are configured such that extension of the mechanically extendable base unit section from the fixed base unit section is independent of extension of the mechanically extendable conveyor section from the mechanically extendable base unit section.

    • Extendible fences for extendible conveyors are disclosed. An example conveyor includes a fence assembly having a plurality of channel segments including at least a base channel segment, an intermediate channel segment, and a distal channel segment. The fence assembly is adjustable in a lengthwise direction such that the fence assembly is longer in the lengthwise direction when a main conveyor assembly is in a fully extended configuration than when the main conveyor assembly is in a fully retracted configuration. The intermediate channel segment is interposed between the base channel segment and the distal channel segment with respect to the lengthwise direction. Each channel segment of the plurality of channel segments includes sidewalls extending upward from a bottom panel. The intermediate channel segment to move in translation in the lengthwise direction relative to an intermediate conveyor section. The bottom panel of the intermediate channel segment is positioned between an upper portion of a conveyor belt of the main conveyor assembly and an upper load bearing surface of the intermediate conveyor section. The upper portion of the conveyor belt being interposed between the sidewalls with reference to a lateral direction, where the lateral direction is horizontal and perpendicular to the lengthwise direction.

    • Example adjustable conveyor systems are disclosed herein. An example adjustable conveyor system includes a first conveyor having a first conveying surface facing upward and running lengthwise along a first longitudinal axis and a second conveyor having a second conveying surface facing upward and running lengthwise along a second longitudinal axis. The second conveyor is spaced apart from the first conveyor to define a span between the first conveyor and the second conveyor. The second conveyor is pivotal relative to the first conveyor. A first side guide protrudes upward and extends lengthwise between the first conveyor and the second conveyor proximate the span, where the first side guide has a first adjustable length. A second side guide protrudes upward and extends lengthwise between the first conveyor and the second conveyor proximate the span, where the second side guide has a second adjustable length. The first side guide is spaced apart from the second side guide to define a passageway between the first conveyor and the second conveyor. The first adjustable length automatically lengthens and the second adjustable length automatically shortens in reaction to the second conveyor pivoting relative to the first conveyor.
