    • A folding and stacking machine of a web of paper has first and second feed lines. The machine also has a folding section with folding rollers having a linear folding speed, VP. The folding rollers are adapted to receive a plurality of sheets of length L that can overlap each other for a fraction Y of their length L and to fold them into a plurality of panels P. The machine also has rollers adapted to feed at the folding speed VP the series of cut sheets but not yet folded towards the folding rollers. The rollers are located at the confluence of the two sheet feeding lines. Upstream of the first and feed lines a single cutting section is provided to cut a web of paper that proceeds along a direction of movement at a speed V(1).

    • A paper converting or rewinding machine provides a cutting or perforation section, equipped with at least one blade arranged to work in combination with a stationary knife to provide the division of the web of paper into a plurality of sheets of measured length. The blade can be integral to a fixed support, or alternatively to a cutting roller that rotates about a longitudinal rotation axis. The blade(s) can be a perforation blade, or a cutting blade, with helical shape, and mounted to a perforation roller. The stationary knife can be mounted to a fixed roller. The blade performs a cutting, or perforation, of the web into sheets working in combination with the stationary knife. The blades and the stationary knifes are long substantially as the width of the paper. In particular, the blade has at least one weakened portion of determined size.

    • Banding machine for packaging logs (2) consisting of stacks of folded, overlapped or interfolded sheets, adapted to apply a banding web of paper or plastic film (8) for banding it on four longitudinal sides, through means for packaging (23). A glue gun (12), during the motion of the web in a direction orthogonal to the drawings, spreads a glue line (4) for all the length of the web (8), near the lower free wing (29). The packaging web (8) crosses the walls (13) at two gaps (26, 27), respectively upper and lower. This way, pushing the compressed log (2) in the channel (6), the packaging web (8) is arranged stretched in front of the log (2). Thus, by the pusher (7), the log (2) is pushed against the packaging web (8) well beyond the gap (26, 27), causing a kind of self-packaging, i.e. the log is wound for ¾ by the web (8) and leaving two free wings, (29, 30), of which the second has glue on it. For avoiding, during the packaging, to dirty with glue passing through the gap (27), at least one among the first or the second section comprises a movable portion for enlarging said gap to allow the movement of said glued zone of said web. The particular said movable section can be a rotating wall portion.

    • A method for rewinding a web of sheet material for making a log wound on a core in a winding zone formed between an upper winding roller and a lower winding roller. Upstream of the winding zone a cradle is provided for feeding the core connected to the support of the lower roller and located beneath the upper winding roller. At least a portion of the cradle is movable with respect to the support of the lower roller and is capable of lowering or rising towards/away from the upper winding roller. For each step of feeding a core, the movable portion can be displaced from a first position of load of the core to a second position wherein the core contacts the upper roller. When the upper roller contacts the core for reaching the winding zone it moves first on the movable portion and then on a fixed portion of the cradle that is integral to the support wherein the axle rotates of the lower roller.

    • An interfolding machine for making a stack of interfolded sheets is adapted to move a first web (10a) of a material to be interfolded, for example paper, non woven fabric, or similar material, along a first direction (101a) and a second web (10b) along a second direction (101b). The two webs of paper (10a, 10b) are dragged by means of respective series of rollers (31-36, 37-45) up to respective cutting sections (20a and 20b) where cutting rollers (2a, 2b) are arranged that in combination with respective counter-cutting rollers (3a, 3b) cut the webs of paper (10a, 10b) in order to form respective sequences of sheets (11a, 11b). The sequences of sheets (11a, 11b) reach then an interfolding section (30) where the sheets (11a) obtained by the first web (10a) and the sheets (11b) obtained by the second web (10b) are folded and then interfolded according to a determined interfolded configuration. Each series of sheets (11a, 11b) has a complete cut (51), or “clean cut”, alternated to a tear-off line (52), or “tab-bond”. The above described configuration avoids the drawbacks of the prior art deriving from the separation of two successive sheets of two different stacks that are joined through a line of “tab-bond” type.

    • The sheets are supplied interfolded by two folding rollers, on a table on which they are piled up forming a stack. When the stack achieves a predetermined height a first plurality of separators and a second plurality of separators, arranged for all the length of the stack and from opposite sides are inserted into the stack to provide the disengagement of the stack already formed from a stack being formed, leaving between them of a wing of sheet hanging. The stack formed is then withdrawn quickly from the stack being formed by means of a table, which translates vertically, and is subject to a blow of air for stretching a possible last sheet. Then, the stack formed is left on a longitudinal conveyor belt located underneath. At the same time, a sheet stretching board moves under the stack of interfolded sheets, for all its length, for provisional support thereof and for stretching completely the wing hanging from the stack being formed with a portion of wing that exceeds sheet stretching board. Then the separators and withdraw laterally and an element moving from a direction opposite to the sheet stretching board, for example a blow of air, stretches the portion of the exceeding wing of sheet just before that the table comes back.
