    • There is provided a microphone apparatus with an adjusting mechanism that prevents wind noise generated at a sound absorbing hole from perceptively inputted in the structure having a microphone built-in at the back of a panel with a sound absorbing hole.A sound box is structured between a sound absorbing hole of a panel and a sound perceptible portion of a microphone, and a movable piece that slidably moves in the sound box is formed. A screw rod is annexed to the movable piece, and a disk screwed with the screw rod is restricted and interposed between a tubular portion, serving as an outer frame of the sound box, and a support portion formed at the lower portion. A part of the disk is exposed to the front surface side from a slit of the panel, and the disk is rotated to move the movable piece, whereby changing a resonant frequency of a ventilation space of the sound box and a ventilation cross.

    • An ankle support (100) is constructed using a molded pad (110) and a rigid shell (112). The pad (110) and the shell (112) may be sealed together to form a bladder-pad cushion for comfort. The internal structure of the pad (110) is molded to include geometrically shaped cells of various size, shape and thickness to provide differing levels of localized comfort to the user of the ankle support (100). The pad may be made from a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) which is spring-like and resists compression sets. The pad may include integrally-molded fingers extending to the shell. The fingers may have different lengths in one or more regions, in order to increase the cushioning effect in a particular region. The pad/shell combination may form a sealed bladder, and a pneumatic pump may be provided in conjunction with the shell so that the user can inflate the bladder.

    • An improved spa control system is disclosed. The invention describes a spa control system which calculates the time required to heat the water in the spa system to a desired temperature. From that information, the heating rate of the spa system can be determined, and the heating element of the spa system can be activated at the proper time to raise the temperature of the water to a selected temperature by a desired time. The spa system also monitors information which might show errors in the operation of the spa system such as a blockage in the flow of water over the heating element in the spa system.
