摘要： In a method for the continuous pre-polycondensation of esterification/transesterification products the stream freely passes from top to bottom in a vertical reaction apparatus through a plurality of attached, heatable, sloped open-above bases, through product overflow channels connected with each other. In order to be able to set a determined, efficient as possible product level in the channels, the esterification/transesterification products are fed though closed, annular-type, concentric annular channels or through parallel channels, wherein a partial quantity of the product stream flowing in the channel is discharged at the product overflows and the remaining product stream is passed via drainage openings.

摘要： The present invention relates to a bursting insert for installation in a pipeline system for transporting a fluid showing a spontaneous exothermic reaction. The bursting insert comprises a wall which surrounds—at least in part on the outside—a passage volume having the fluid flowing therethrough in a passage direction. A pressure discharge line which is sealed relative to the passage volume with a bursting body extends out of the passage volume. When a predetermined bursting pressure is exceeded, the bursting body can be transferred into a state in which the passage volume and the pressure discharge line are interconnected in fluid-conducting fashion. For an easy mounting of the bursting body, the bursting insert can be designed as a pipeline module which can be installed and dismounted repeatedly in the pipeline system for replacing the bursting body.

摘要： A continuous process and apparatus for remelting fluffy, high bulk tangled polymer waste, such as nylon or polyethylene terephthalate fibers, which comprises chopping the waste into pieces 15 to 40 mm. mesh size, passing the chopped waste through a charging zone, a compressing screw, and finally an extruder. The charging zone is formed by a vertically-disposed hopper, having two opposed parallel walls and two opposed converging walls. Inside the hopper is a plurality of agitating shafts having tapered fingers that loosen and disentangle the chopped waste. The waste then is compressed to one-fourth to one-fifth its volume and transferred to an extruder where it is melted, degassed and extruded to a predetermined shape.
