摘要： A method for detecting a high pressure condition within a high voltage vacuum device includes detecting the position of a movable structure such as a bellows. The position at high pressures can be detected optically by the interruption of a light beam reflected by a hemispherically shaped reflector. The hemispherical reflector allows the source light fiber to oriented parallel to the detection light fiber, providing a more compact and efficient fiber routing.

摘要： A apparatus for detecting a high pressure condition within a high voltage vacuum device includes a microcircuit embedded within the vacuum containment that transmits a wireless signal upon detection of a high pressure condition and/or light generated by arcing between the electrical contacts of the high voltage device. The wireless signal can be transmitted via RF or optical means. The microcircuit is powered by energy sources produced within the vacuum device such as magnetic fields generated by current flow through the device, or light generated by arcing between the contacts. Alternatively, the microcircuit can be powered RF or optical signals transmitted to the microcircuit from outside the vacuum device.

摘要： A cable connector terminates an armored cable in a knockout in a wall of an electrical enclosure. The connector includes a one-piece connector body having a forward end and plurality of side walls extending from the forward end in cantilevered fashion to define a cavity for receipt of an end of the cable. The forward end of the connector body is insertable into the knockout and the cantilevered side walls are deflectable to permit such insertion. The side walls further accommodate insertion of a cable into the cavity for retentively supporting the cable to the enclosure. The side walls of the connector body include outwardly extending tabs for engaging wall of the enclosure about the knockout. Side walls further include inwardly extending fingers for engaging the cable.

摘要： A cable spacer provides for the spacing of an article such as a cable, wire or conduit from a mounting panel such as a wall or ceiling. The mounting panel accommodates a cable tie for securing the spacer thereto. The spacer includes a spacer body having an article support surface for securely supporting the article thereagainst. The spacer body further includes plural non-coplanar mounting surfaces where each of the mounting surfaces is capable of being supported against the mounting panel. Tie spacer body further includes a cable tie attachment element which permits the accommodation of a cable tie where the spacer element is supported against the mounting panel with any of the non-coplanar mounting surfaces being positioned thereagainst. The spacer also provides for stackability of two or more similar spacers.
