The UE includes receiving circuitry configured to receive system information comprising first information of first time domain resource assignment for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The receiving circuitry is also configured to receive a UE-specific radio resource control (RRC) signal comprising second information of second time domain resource assignment for a PDSCH. The receiving circuitry is also configured to perform, based on a detection of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), the PDSCH reception according to either the first information of the first time domain resource assignment or the second information of the second time domain resource assignment.

摘要： A packet data transmission system comprises primary stations (PS) having signal transmitting and receiving means and antennas (PA1 to PA4) for propagating downlink signals and receiving uplink signals and a plurality of secondary stations (SS) able to roam within the coverage areas of the primary stations. Each secondary station (SS1) has signal transmitting and receiving means, a predetermined number of antennas (SA1 to SA4), and means for monitoring its radio environment. Information about the radio environment is relayed as an uplink signal to the respective primary station which modifies its mode of transmission of packet data signals. The secondary station in response to the modified mode of transmission of the downlink signals adapts its receiver resources to process the packet data signals and effect cancellation of any interference.

摘要： A radio communication system comprises a communication channel for the transmission of data packets (302) from a primary station having a plurality of antennas to a secondary station having at least one antenna. The channel comprises a plurality of paths, and the primary station transmits a plurality of packets substantially simultaneously. Each of the plurality of packets is transmitted via a different subset of the plurality of paths, for example by arranging for each packet to be transmitted via a different antenna or antenna beam. The secondary station receives the plurality of data packets, determines whether each packet is received correctly and signals this determination (typically as an acknowledgement (304) or a negative acknowledgement (306)) to the primary station for each of the plurality of packets. The signaling may be by any convenient means, for example transmitting each acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement via a different subset of available uplink paths.

Receiving stations are informed about the feedback of another receiving station. This is done by mirroring the feedback of receiving stations to other receiving stations. Due to this, in case, for example, one of the mirrored feedbacks is a negative acknowledgement message, the other receiving stations are informed that it is no longer necessary to provide their feedback, since a retransmission will be initiated anyway. Advantageously, this may allow to reduce interference in the direction of the feedback.

摘要： A communication system includes a downlink indicator channel for the transmission of an indicator signal indicating that a data packet is scheduled to be transmitted on a downlink data channel from a primary station to a secondary station. In response to detection of the indicator signal, the secondary station transmits a status signal, for example a negative acknowledgement signal, on an uplink channel to the primary station immediately before transmission of a positive or negative acknowledgement signal to indicate the status of the received data packet. By providing the primary station with two chances to detect the case where the secondary station fails to detect the indicator signal, peak power requirements of the uplink channel can be reduced, thereby reducing system interference levels.
