摘要： An apparatus for holding film cassettes in an X-ray machine in the proper location and relative orientation for making an exposure. In particular, the distance of the top surface of the cassette, and, hence of the film held therein, from stationary parts of the X-ray machine is kept constant by a plurality of spring-loaded push buttons which press the film cassette against the overhanging edges of the arms which hold the cassette in place. Each push button has a built-in electrical switch whose signal is used by a control mechanism for adjusting the size and position of the diaphragm of the X-ray machine to the particular length of the film cassette being loaded, while another electrical means related to the holding arms, controls the diaphragm in respect to the width of the cassette. The signals from the switches associated with the push buttons are also used to define the relative position of the cassette and the central beam of the X-ray tube.

摘要： A film changer has a film supply portion with a roll of unexposed X-ray film therein, an exposure portion with movable image intensifying screens, leaving a gap therebetween, and an exposed film collecting and storage portion; behind the image intensifying screens lies the input screen of a picture amplifier tube. As desired, presentation of X-ray images on a TV monitor can be obtained or film fed by means of a separate motor connected to the supply reel between the intensifying screens; upon movement of the screens together, the film is cut off the roll, can be exposed by X-rays, and then, upon reopening, fed into the exposed film storage chamber by an independently driven ejection roller. Sequencing of operations and selection of mode (radiographic or radioscopic) is selectively controllable by a control console.

摘要： A light-proof transfer device makes it possible to introduce into a developer apparatus, exposed film sheets or negatives which are coiled up in a magazine. Introduction is effected automatically despite the residual curvature in the negatives issuing from the magazine. The device includes a light-tight box-shaped housing which receives the negatives on exit from the magazine, the housing containing means for pushing the negative ejected from the magazine laterally into an output slot preceded by a deflector designed to flatten out the negative which is introduced into the developer apparatus through an input slot registering with the output slot of the device, in a direction perpendicular to its own curvature.
