摘要： A tire pressure monitoring system is configured to communicate with a tire pressure sensor and has an antenna assembly and a transmitter. The antenna assembly has a transmitting and a cancelling antenna. The transmitting antenna has a wire loop defined by a plurality of coils with a first terminal and a second terminal. The cancelling antenna has a wire loop defined by a plurality of coils with a first terminal and a second terminal. The arrangement of the transmitting antenna and the cancelling antenna defines a proximal zone wherein a field from the transmitting antenna is configured to be sufficient to actuate the tire pressure monitor, while beyond the proximal zone, a field from the cancelling antenna cancels the field from the transmitting antenna. The transmitter is coupled to the transmitting antenna, and the cancelling antenna. An antenna and methods are likewise disclosed.

摘要： A method and rivet apparatus to rivet a workpiece comprises an upper riveting portion and a lower riveting portion. The lower riveting portion comprising a fixed base, support member, and a pin assembly. The pin assembly comprises a center pin, a forming pin, a first biasing member, an outer shroud, and a second biasing member. The center pin pushes against a tail of a rivet to deform the tail of the rivet. The forming pin, fixedly coupled to the support member, pushes against the tail of the rivet to deform the tail of the rivet. The first biasing member, disposed below the center pin, biases the center pin through the forming pin and away from the support member. The outer shroud encircles the forming pin and the center pin. The second biasing member, disposed below the outer shroud, biases the outer shroud away from the support member.

The pin bore includes a top end and a bottom end and is disposed within the rivet block. The pin bore extends from the top end to the bottom end of the rivet block and guides a rivet pin that slides downward within the pin bore to push a head of a rivet into a workpiece. The rivet feed bore includes a top end and a bottom end and is disposed within the rivet block. The rivet feed bore extends from the top end to the bottom end of the rivet block, accepts the rivet at the top end of the rivet feed bore, and guides the rivet to the bottom end of the rivet feed bore. The rivet feed bore intersecting the pin bore between the top end and the bottom end of the pin bore at an oblique angle.

A hydraulic circuit is connected to the cylinder assemblies, and includes synchronizer with multiple isolated chambers corresponding to the lift cylinder assemblies, a rod extending axially through the chambers, and pistons mounted on the rod and associated with the isolated chambers. An axial passageway extends continuously through the rod and is connected to first passageways for communicating hydraulic fluid to one side of the chambers. The hydraulic circuit operably connects a pump to the axial passageway of the synchronizer and to second passageways connected to the chambers and to the cylinder assemblies for controlling and providing synchronized movement of the at least two lift cylinder assemblies. The hydraulic circuit includes valving for an automatic re-synchronization cycle, fill cycle, and air purge cycle.
