摘要： An orthodontic feeding nipple adapted for attachment to a feeding bottle, said feeding nipple having a monolithic, single-walled hollow body of elastomeric material. The body has an annular securing flange at a base end of the body. An inner contour of the flange defines an inlet opening for liquid into said feeding nipple. A bottle ventilation hole is present in said flange allowing the passage of air into the feeding bottle. The body has a hollow shell portion integral with the flange at the inner contour thereof. The shell portion has a lower shell portion, a central shell portion, and a top shell portion. The top shell portion includes a dispensing holes containing wall section that is provided with a group of multiple liquid dispensing holes. This wall section is arranged at the side of the ventilation hole and has a substantially uniform wall thickness in the region of the group of dispensing holes. Each dispensing hole is conical with a smallest diameter at the inside of the shell portion and a largest diameter at the outside of the shell portion. The outer face of the wall section is substantially planar and arranged at an angle between 30 and 40° with respect to a plane normal to the plane of the securing flange.

The closure device comprises a base (2) having a body with a connector portion (2a) adapted to mount the closure device on a product container. The base comprises a product channel (5) and a rupturable seal (4) occluding the product channel and forming a lower seal of the closure device. A rotary part (20) is rotatably journalled on the base. The rotary part has a product passage (21) in communication with the product channel in the base. An upper sealing arrangement (30) is arranged on the rotary part and forms an upper seal of the closure device that is remote from the lower seal and seals the product passage of the rotary part. A lower seal rupturing member (40) is movable in a rupturing motion relative to the base to rupture the rupturable lower seal. A motion transfer (27, 42, 3b, 41) means is provided and is adapted so as to effect the rupturing motion of the lower seal rupturing member upon suitable rotary actuation of the rotary part. A protective overcap (10) is removable by the user.

The product chamber also has a product inlet in communication with the main reservoir (2) and an inlet valve. The variable volume product chamber (30) has a volume that is reduced upon increased pressurization of product in the main reservoir (2) of the container (1), and that is increased, at when the increased pressurization of product in the main reservoir (2) of the container (1) is removed. The inlet valve (60) closes the product inlet upon increase of pressurization of the product in the main reservoir (2) so that product passes from the chamber via the product outlet. The inlet valve (60) opens the product inlet upon removal of said increased pressurization.

A ring member is integrally formed to the lower edge of the skirt of the cap body and comprises an annular base portion (51) connected via breakable bridges (53) to the skirt. The base portion and the spout body (11) have cooperating permanent snap-fit joint portions (56, 21, 23) that keep the ring member fixed to the spout upon removal of the cap body. The pouch further comprises a flow control device (80) made distinct from the spout and from the cap unit. The flow control device is mounted to the neck (14) and has an external part (82) located outside of the exterior surface of the neck. The cap body is arranged over the neck and the flow control device. The ring member and the external part of the flow control device have cooperating retention portions (55, 83).

The cap body further includes an annular inner sealing ring (40) depending from the top wall. The inside of the neck is provided with an inward tapering annular guide surface (15) that is contacted by the inner sealing ring when the cap is secured onto the spout body and then causes an elastic deformation of the inner sealing ring and/or the neck. The inner sealing ring is embodied such that the first annular sealing surface (41) on the exterior side of the inner sealing ring and a lowermost annular surface (43) of the interior side of the sealing ring adjoin one another directly at an apex (44) which forms the lower edge of the inner sealing ring, and in that—with the cap in closed position—said apex lies against the interior side of the neck, said lowermost annular surface extending from said apex to form an angle of at least 90° with an exposed surface portion of the interior side of the neck directly below said apex so as to avoid the presence of any gap between the inner sealing ring and the neck at said apex.
