    • The present invention relates to polymeric antitumor agent which is formed in polymeric micelle complex by intermolecular bonding or mutual interaction between styrene maleic acid copolymer (SMA) and low molecule antitumor agent which is anthracyclins drug such as pirarubicin, doxorubicm, epirbicin, daunorbicin, acralbicin, or alkaloid antitumor agent such as cis-platinum, and taxol These polymeric antitumor agents may improve specificity to cancer cells so that it improves antitumor effect, while it may not be concentrated at normal organ or tissue, so that adverse effect may be diminished. These polymeric antitumor agents may be prepared by dissolving SMA and low molecule antitumor agent in aqueous solution, then in the presence of aqueous soluble carbodiimide, amino acids, or polyamine, adjusting pH to form micelle complex and recovering polymer fraction.

    • (1) The imidazoline derivative represented by the following general formula (1) ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is a substituent endowed with water solubility or fat solubility, particularly carboxyl group or carboxymethoxy group or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, (2) The method for producing the above-mentioned compound, and (3) A therapeutic agent containing as its active ingredient the above-mentioned imidazoline derivative or an imidazoline derivative wherein R.sup.1 indicated in the formula (1) is hydrogen atom. The imidazoline derivative set forth under (1) above is a novel substance; and this compound itself and its derivative having R.sup.1 as indicated in the general formula (1) is hydrogen atom are useful as a therapeutic agent for treatment of shock from the fall in blood pressure by virtue of their ability to remove excess NO which is the vascular endothelium-derived relaxing factor (EDRF).

    • A method of exterminating harmful insects under the floor of a house or building comprises spraying insecticide into the enclosed area under the floor of the house or building. For the purposes of this patent application the meaning of the word insecticide encompasses substances which deter insect presence as well as substances which kill insects. The insecticide used, is in the form of a fine adhesive powder which is loaded into an airtight dispenser. The dispenser has an opening for the insecticide to pass through. The opening is initially blocked by insecticide while pressure inside the dispenser is increased. Subsequently, insecticide is forced out the dispenser opening and delivered to a nozzle which sprays the insecticide under the building floor at a high exit velocity. The air in the enclosed area under the floor of the building is stirred up by the fluid energy delivered by the jet of fine powser insecticide. The insecticide mixes with the disturbed air to be distributed to, and to coat exposed surfaces and adhere in crevices in the area under the building floor.
