摘要： Methods comprising the use of photoactivated chemical bleaching for detecting multiple targets in a biological sample are provided. The methods include the steps of binding at least one probe to one or more target present in a biological sample including multiple targets, and detecting a signal from the probe. The method further includes the steps of contacting the sample comprising the bound probe with a photoinitiator and irradiating the sample, thereby initiating a photoactivated chemical bleaching process that substantially inactivates the probe. The method further includes the steps of binding at least one probe to one or more target present in the sample, and detecting a signal from the probe. The process of binding, detecting and bleaching may be iteratively repeated.

摘要： A fluid transfer assembly for single use bioreactors includes a fluid transfer housing that can be mounted to the impeller shaft using a bearing that places the fluid transfer assembly directly below the lowest impeller but allows the impeller shaft to spin inside independently of the fluid transfer assembly. A fluid conduit connects the fluid transfer housing to a port in the single use bag wall which allows fluids to be introduced into the sparger and which also helps prevent the fluid transfer assembly from rotating with the impeller shaft.

The design is for a tubing clamp which comprises two ‘C’ shaped pieces each joined together at one side by a hinge, and closeable together in use at their opposing ends, all formed from an integral molding. The clamps, during closing, are intended to compressively clamp around flexible or semi-flexible tubing (not shown and not part of the design), which in turn can have a male insert within it (not shown and not part of the design) to oppose the clamping force of the tubing clamp illustrated herein.

摘要： The disclosed subject matter relates to an automated determination of cell-by-cell segmentation quality of a tissue specimen sample. A training set of cells is examined by an expert to determine which cells that include “good” segmentation and which cells include “poor” segmentation. A training model is build based on the image data of the cells in the training set. Image data from cells in a test specimen is obtained and that image data is compared to the training model to determine on a cell-by-cell basis which cells in the test specimen include “good” segmentation and which cells include “poor” segmentation. The accumulated data on the cells analyzed in the test specimen can be utilized to determine an overall segmentation quality score for the area of the test specimen in which the individual cells are located in the test specimen.
