摘要： A laminate is formed by overlapping at least a part of a first member and at least a part of a second member. The first member and the second member are joined by irradiating the laminate with a laser. The first member contains aluminum. The second member contains copper. The second member includes a first main surface and a second main surface. The second main surface is an opposite surface of the first main surface. A contact portion is provided due to contact of the first main surface with the first member. The second main surface is irradiated with the laser. A temperature of the contact portion is equal to or higher than an eutectic point temperature of Al and Cu and lower than a melting point of Cu.

摘要： A high voltage distribution system is provided with multiple fuses. The high voltage distribution system includes multiple laminated busbars that are electrically coupled to a battery and to the multiple fuses. Busbars are electrically coupled to the one or more fuses via electrical connections between the busbars and the fuses. The electrical connections can pass through other busbars without having an electrical coupling to the other busbars. An insulating layer may be used between the busbars to prevent overcurrent events. The configuration, size, and position of each busbar is selected based on the electrical requirements of components that are electrically coupled to the busbar and based on the prevention of overcurrent events.

摘要： An interconnection for a battery comprising a plurality of cells having connection tabs. The interconnection comprises a first electrically insulating substrate, a heat sink, a plurality of tab-receiving regions, a plurality of aperture and electrically insulating material. The first electrically insulating substrate has a first face on a first side of the interconnection and a second face. The heat sink is thermally connected to the second face of the first substrate. The plurality of tab-receiving regions comprise electrically conducting material on the first side of the interconnection for receiving connection tabs of the cells. The plurality of apertures extend through the interconnection, wherein the apertures are arranged to allow connection tabs of the cells to extend from a second side of the interconnection, through the apertures, and to the first side of the interconnection for establishing contact with the tab-receiving regions on the first side of the interconnection. The electrically insulating material is arranged to insulate the apertures from the heat sink, such that connection tabs extending through the apertures are electrically insulated from the heat sink.
