    • A linked brake system for motorcycles includes front and rear wheel brakes, an actuating device by which the front and rear wheel brakes can be operated simultaneously, a control system for controlling brake pressures at the front and rear wheel brakes, and wheel rotational speed sensors for measuring the wheel rotational speeds of the front and rear wheels as well as for determining a reference deceleration approaching the actual vehicle deceleration and for detecting running conditions in which a lock-up tendency exists at at least one of the front wheel and the rear wheel. The wheel rotational speed sensors is connected to the control system. Upon an operation of the actuating device, the control system operates the front and rear wheel brakes with a set brake pressure ratio, provided the reference deceleration is less than a set deceleration. The control system controls the brake pressure ratio according to an ideal braking force distribution function between the front wheel and rear wheel whenever the reference deceleration exceeds a set critical deceleration.

    • A bicycle brake cable system has a brake cable coupling arrangement in which a plurality of branches are provided from a single brake lever force application lug. Splitting of the brake cable is performed within the structure of a brake barrel adjuster. The barrel adjuster is provided with a cylindrical cavity that receives a rotatable coupler therewithin. The interface ends of the force transmission cable segments are terminated in the coupler, which is free to rotate relative to the barrel adjuster. As a consequence, the barrel adjuster may be threadably advanced to either increase or decrease brake tension by rotation relative to its threaded connection to the brake lever assembly body. By providing a coupler that is rotatable relative to the barrel adjuster, the barrel adjuster can be rotated in both directions to increase or reduce brake tension. The relative rotation between the coupler and the threaded nipple of the barrel adjuster allows the force transmission segments of the brake cable to remain stationary relative to the handlebars, while still permitting tension adjustment on the brake cable.

    • A bicycle brake device comprises a rotating device, a rotating shaft and a pair of pintles. Two recesses are formed on the rotating device to receive the heads of the front and rear brake lines, respectively. The rotating device has two chambers defined by two corresponding flanges of the rotating device. The first and second pintles are on the corresponding chambers, respectively. Each pintle has a slot and a circular hole at each of a top end and a bottom end of the pintle. The bottom circular hole receives hollow cylinder post. A hollow screw which has a through hole passes through the bottom slot and the hollow cylinder post. The first and second brake control lines pass through the corresponding through holes, respectively. One end of the first or second brake control line is positioned by the positioning hole of the screw bolt. The screw bolt passes through a washer, a nut, and the through hole. The springs are disposed between the corresponding pintles and the rotor.

    • Links are provided for linking a brake caliper pivotally supported through a pin to a vehicle body.
