    • A frame is constructed to support a roof. A plurality of panels can be slid into position on the frame from the ground. A mating channel joint is formed between adjacent panels that allows one panel to be slid over the adjacent panel into the proper position. The panels engage frame members to properly position the panels on the roof. The roof panels are formed with mounting structures located on the interior or underside thereof. The mounting structures include holes or other receptacles for receiving a rigid connector member. The frame members are also provided with receptacles for receiving the connector member. The connector member is inserted through the first mounting structure, through the receptacle in the frame member and through the mounting structure of the adjacent panel.

    • A roof batten for use in spacing tiles or similar exterior roofing members from a roof overlayment is provided. In one embodiment, the batten includes at least one layer of a corrugated plastic material with a pair of generally planar plies and a convoluted ply cooperating with the planar plies to define a multiplicity of passages.     • A hinged roof vent panel is provided which includes a combination of hinged ridges that allow the panel to be cut and folded to form an insulation block which inhibits the flow of loosefill insulation which may block soffit vents and which provides suitable ventilation to inhibit condensation during cold periods and to allow acceptable airflow during warm periods. The vent panel is typically thermoformed from a thin sheet of extruded polystyrene foam into the shape described and claimed. The panel is relatively planar and stackable so that a large number of panels may be packaged together for shipping.

    • The present invention provides a fastening means of air grille including a grid face, a filtering device, a stationary frame and door latches, in which said grid face is hinged to the stationary frame with one side, and the opposite side of the grid face is fastened on the stationary frame with the door latches; wherein said door latches molded of plastic is located on the grid face in movable connection with a catching hook at the middle portion; a pushing portion is built upon the upside of the door latch, and a L-shaped catching shoe on the lower portion, above the L-shaped catching shoe the catching hook is built up for holding the grid face on, and an open slot constructed of the low leg of the L-shaped shoe and the bottom of said pushing portion is used to catch on the stationary frame. When opening the grid face, just need to push the door latches respectively to outward so as to slide off from the stationary frame, then the grid face is opened wholly; in this case, locking or opening of the grid face to install or remove filter becomes easy and convenient.

    • The automatic vent damper has various embodiments of a wind actuated vent system, which automatically closes to preclude entry of wind blown water when a wind of predetermined velocity and direction acts upon the device. The damper may be installed as an off-ridge or ridge vent system, or in other operating environments and installations as desired. Various mechanisms are used to operate the device, with all including one or more springs, which hold a rigid door or flap, open in light wind conditions. However, when a wind of sufficient velocity blows toward the vent opening, the door or flap is closed due to aerodynamic forces thereon to preclude entry of wind blown water into the device. The door or flap automatically opens again due to the spring mechanism when the wind abates.

    • A ridge ventilator for covering an open ridge of a roof while promoting ventilation of a space beneath the roof. The ridge ventilator has a sectional body having a first side and a second side, a number of partitions extending across said body between said sides, as well as a first end and a second end. The vent body has a width between said sides to permit said body to be laid over and cover an open ridge in a roof formed at the peak. The body also includes a recessed middle portion in a top face of the body, the recess being sized and shaped to accommodate roofing cap shingles. The body also includes opposed raised and curved, in side view, air foil side sections; which have a grill to permit air to pass therethrough between a space beneath said roof and the outside, the air foil side sections being sized and shaped to create, in a wind passing over the air foil sections, a low pressure adjacent to the grill to facilitate drawing air out of the space.
