摘要： The present invention relates to a block polymeric material. Typically the block polymer comprises units capable of having an average cationic charge density of about 15 or less, preferably 5 or less, more preferably from about 0.05 to about 5, even more preferably from about 0.05 to about 2.77, even more preferably from about 0.1 to about 2.75, most preferably from about 0.75 to about 2.25 units per 100 daltons molecular weight at a pH of from about 4 to about 12. The polymeric material is a suds enhancer and a suds volume extender for personal care products such as soaps and shampoos. The compositions have increased effectiveness for preventing re-deposition of grease during hand and body washing. The polymers are also effective as a soil release agent in fabric cleaning compositions. The polymeric material is also effective in oil well treating foam, fire-fighting foam, hard surface cleaning foam, shaving cream, post-foaming shaving gel, dephiliatories and as a coagulant/retention aid for titanium dioxide in paper making.

摘要： An adhesive composition which can be formulated to have low or substantially no VOC emissions is provided. Adhesives in accordance with the invention can be formulated as high solids, one-part, reactive, cross-linked adhesives. This can be achieved by utilizing amide-ester-acrylate reactions or reactions with any other carboxylated polymers. Adhesive compositions in accordance with the invention can include oils, such as various drying oils and similarly acting polymers, co-polymers, and fatty acids. Adhesives in accordance with the invention can also include various hydrocarbon resins, particularly crosslinkable hydrocarbons having a melting point in the range 70° C. to 140° C. Cross-linking agents, such as materials with pendant oxazoline groups are also advantageously included. Various other mixing, flow and other handling ingredients can also be included.

The compositions may optionally contain an impact modifier; a non-elastomeric polymer of an alkenylaromatic compound; a polycarbonate resin; a reinforcing filler or any combination of the foregoing. The compatibility of the compositions can be further improved with the addition of a poly(phenylene ether) resin which is epoxy or ortho-ester functionalized. Improved articles can be made from these compositions.

摘要： A fog-resistant polyolefin packaging film is prepared by producing a film of a formulation comprising ethylene or a polypropylene polymer, having incorporated therein and an antifog agent comprising: a) a C8 or higher ester, diester, and/or triester of a C2 to C8 polyhydric alcohol; and b) a mono-or dialkoxylated C10 or higher amine. In a preferred embodiment, said film further comprises c) an alkoxylated alkylphenol or derivatives thereof. Said antifog agent is present in an amount which imparts antifog resistance performance to said film in about less than an hour.
