摘要： A method for producing a fluoropolymer dispersion where a fine particle containing a fluoropolymer is dispersed in an aqueous dispersion medium, the fluoropolymer having a sulfonic acid group, and the method including a polymerization reaction step of emulsion polymerizing a fluorovinyl ether derivative and a fluorine-containing ethylenic monomer to give a fluoropolymer precursor, a hydrolysis step of hydrolyzing, in an aqueous medium, —SO2X1, where X1 represents a halogen atom, which the fluoropolymer precursor has thereby to give the fluoropolymer, the fluorovinyl ether derivative being represented by the following general formula (II): CF2═CF—O—(CF2CFY1—O)n—(CFY2)m-A1 (II) wherein Y1, n, Y1, m and A1 are as defined herein, the fluoropolymer precursor having a fluorovinyl ether derivative unit content of 5 to 40 mole percent, and the fluoropolymer dispersion being produced without drying the fluoropolymer precursor and the fluoropolymer.

For example, a process comprises withdrawing the polymerization product from a loop polymerization reactor, and conveying the withdrawn polymerization product to a separation vessel via a first pressure differential and a second pressure differential. The withdrawn polymerization product may flow through the first pressure differential before flowing through the second pressure differential, and the first pressure differential may be less than the second pressure differential.

摘要： Provided are methods for obtaining modified polyarylene sulfide compositions having improved thermal and thermo-oxidative stability, the compositions so obtained, and articles comprising the compositions. The method comprises the steps of contacting, in the presence of a suitable solvent, a polyarylene sulfide with at least one reducing agent and at least base to form a first mixture. The reducing agent comprises zinc(0), tin(0), tin(II), bismuth (0), bismuth(III), or a combination thereof. The first mixture is heated to form a second mixture in which the polyarylene sulfide is dissolved. The polyarylene sulfide is then precipitated to obtain a modified polyarylene sulfide.
