If a conference bridge or the media mixer fails, the system recovers from the failure with minimal interruption to the users.

The knowledgebase may be selected from internal sources or external sources depending on factors, such as the type of question/statement or topic associated therewith. The indicia may annotate a transcript or recording of the conference so that a subsequent review may have the ability to locate the source of the answer/response as desired.

A determination can be made as to whether the call system recognizes the user identifier associated with the first user and, responsive to determining the call system does not recognize the user identifier associated with the first user, a determination can be made as to whether the call system recognizes a voice of the first user. If the call system does not recognize the voice of the first user, a location of the first user can be identified by processing the user identifier. The location of the first user can be added to respective user information stored in the e-meeting data structure. An e-meeting can be generated for the call.

摘要： A method for encoding sound field signals includes allocating coding rate by application of a uniform criterion to all subbands of all signals in a joint process. An allocation criterion may be based on a comparison, in a given subband, between a spectral envelope of the signals to be encoded and a coding noise profile, wherein the noise profile may be a sum of a noise shape and a noise offset, which noise offset is computed on the basis of the coding bit budget. The rate allocation process may be combined with an energy-compacting orthogonal transform, for which there is proposed a parameterization susceptible of efficient coding and having adjustable directivity. In a further aspect, the invention provides a corresponding decoding method.

The user of the subscriber device may initiate the call for assistance and teleconference via a press of a single button on the device; alternatively, accelerometers in the device may detect a fall and automatically initiate the call. The device can receive medical telemetry and provide it to conference participants and perform home automation tasks.
