    • A controller for use with a cell phone and an audio source such as a CD player, tape player, radio or MP3 player is provided. In use the controller is coupled to the cell phone, audio source and at least one earphone. The controller includes a switch, the switch simultaneously affecting the cell phone and the audio source. More specifically, when the switch is in a first position, the cell phone is connected and the audio source is disabled, either by decoupling the audio source from the earphones or muting the audio signal emitted by the audio source. When the switch is in a second position, the cell phone is disconnected and the audio source is enabled. Accordingly during use the user may simultaneously answer his or her cell phone and mute (or disconnect) the audio source. The controller may also include a microphone for use with the cell phone and a volume control, the volume control preferably being interposed between the audio source and the earphones.

    • An electrical socket has a movable socket holder, a casing and a socket body. The movable socket holder has a pair of jacks, with a curved contact pin is mounted in each jack. The casing has a pair of conductive pieces therein and an opening. The movable socket holder is movably mounted through the opening of the casing outside the casing. The socket body is mounted between the movable socket holder and the casing to either separate the contact pins from the conductive pieces to obtain an electrical disconnection, or contact with the contact pins and the conductive pieces to establish an electrical connection. The interior wiring of the electrical appliance can be safely controlled.

    • A safety electrical outlet for receiving metallic prongs of an electrical plug. The outlet has a housing with at least two plug passages being sized for receiving the metallic prongs of the electrical plug, and two metallic connectors mounted on the housing for connection to an electrical power source. At least two transverse channels communicate with the corresponding plug passages and extend toward the corresponding metallic connectors with at least two spring-biased members being inserted in each corresponding transverse channel and being movable between an extended position where the spring-biased member partially extends within the corresponding plug passage and a retracted position where the corresponding metallic prong that is inserted inside the passage pushes against the spring-biased member so that it touches the corresponding metallic connector for establishing an electrical contact between the metallic prong and the corresponding metallic connector.
