摘要： An apparatus for inverting and returning sheets from a printer (1) for large-sized paper comprises an inlet area (11) where the sheet is received from the printer (1), and an outlet area (12) where said sheet is returned to the printer (1). The apparatus comprises a frame (16) mountable on the support of the printer (1), and a guiding slit (18) in the inlet area, said guiding slit being defined by an upper wall (13) and a lower wall (17), where the lower wall (17) extends from the inlet (11) to a clamping slit (22) between a first pair of roller means (23, 24) for receiving and temporarily retaining the front edge of a sheet when seen in the advancing direction, said sheet being received through the inlet area. The lower guiding wall (17) is tiltable and adapted to be moved about a substantially horizontal axis from a sheet-supporting position to a downward sheet-releasing position. The frame (16) carries furthermore a second pair of roller means (33, 24) adapted to received the sheet from the first pair of roller means (23, 24) and to guide the sheet through the outlet area (12) and back to the printer (1).

摘要： A sheet conveying device of the present invention includes a roll-up guide rotatable about a shaft. When the roll-up guide is shifted to a roll-up position where it intersects a first tray, it rolls up a sheet discharged and stores the sheet in the form of a roll. The roll-up guide allows, when shifted to a pick-up position above the body of the device, the operator of the device to pick up the rolled sheet from the roll-up guide at the operating position in front of the device. The device is easy to operate and is capable of storing a sheet in the form of a roll and allowing the roll to be safely picked up without any damage.

摘要： A feed mechanism for a photocopy or similar machine directs the media, particularly wide-format media, into a receiving tray along a path which is substantially parallel to, but in the opposite direction of, the original media path. This allows for the removal of media from the front of the photocopy machine. With the drive mechanism in a first configuration, the leading edge of the media is fed directly into the receiving tray. Responsive to a position of the leading edge of the media, the drive mechanism changes to a second configuration so that the subsequent portion of the media is allowed to form a loop and to be delivered to a second receiving area.

The strip flattens and smooths sheet material being fed into the machine and also supports material coming out of the machine above the feed table so that new sheet material can be fed into the machine as other material is emerging.
