    • A track chain assembly for an undercarriage system is provided. The track chain assembly includes a plurality of adjacent offset link sets connected to each other through a pin provided between oppositely disposed offset links wherein an axis of rotation is defined by the pin. The track chain assembly also includes a connection assembly coupled to a pair of the plurality of offset link sets. The connection assembly is configured to connect two ends of the track chain assembly together to form an endless loop. The connection assembly includes a first pair of straight links coupled to one of the pair of the plurality of offset link sets. The connection assembly also includes a second pair of straight links coupled to the first pair of straight links and the other of the pair of the plurality of offset link sets.

    • A chain assembly having a retention feature is disclosed. The chain assembly may be used in conjunction with a mobile machine and may include a pair of track links and a track link connector. The track link connector may have an elongate, substantially cylindrical body having a length dimension and having a substantially annular exterior surface and first and second opposing end portions. The first end portion may be inserted into a bore of one of the track links and form an interface therebetween. The interface may have an axial length. The track link connector may further have a retention feature extending 360 degrees around a circumference of the exterior surface of the body at the interface. The retention feature may be a roughened surface and may cover a first portion of the interface closest to a center of the cylindrical body.

The track assembly includes pins connecting the bushing ends of pairs of links to the pin ends of adjacent pairs of links forming endless chains. The endless chains connect adjacent track pads in an endless loop.

    • A crawler belt link includes a center portion, one end portion located on one end side of the center portion, and the other end portion located on the other end side of the center portion. In a second surface, the center portion has a first portion of a rail surface, the one end portion has a second portion of the rail surface, and the other end portion has a third portion of the rail surface. A first outer circumferential portion reaching the second portion of the rail surface is located closer to a second side portion with respect to a bushing hole surrounding portion. Accordingly, a crawler belt link and a crawler belt apparatus can be implemented, by which wear of the rail surface above a bushing hole can be suppressed while maintaining the width of the crawler belt link to be relatively small.

    • A machine tread including a first and second pair of plates. The plates have corresponding first ends and second ends, and the second ends of the first pair include elliptical bores with elliptical plate bearing surfaces. The first ends of the second pair include aligned bushing bores. The first ends of the second pair fit between the second ends of the first pair. Ends of a bushing including an inner bore with an interior surface and a cylindrical bearing surface engage the bushing bores forming a pin bore through the inner and elliptical bores. A retention pin fits in the segmented pin bore. The first pair has a tensioned position when a force acts in a direction away from the second pair. In the tensioned position, the elliptical plate bearing surfaces and the interior bushing surface abut the cylindrical bearing surface.
